I recall times people have corrected me in love, that I didn't feel offended at all. I also think of the Bible verse about not being easily provoked on angered. If we are so sensitive to what others say that we become agitated, we need to evaluate ourselves. I myself have been told I'm too blunt. I pray I will learn to speak truth in love.

I’ve dealt with enough confrontational criticism from my siblings to last a few life times. Whatever they think is wrong with me, there’s a good chance it’s 10 times worse. But, when people (whoever they maybe) treat you like you’re their enemy, every time they attempt to confront you, I would think that kind of behavior would be a classic example of why we need boundaries. So, that’s a bit confusing to me.
