I like the way you work as you know this industry was purely started to give the second hand market a much cheaper alternative to the bodyshop and a very lucrative living for the lads who take it on in all and some of the worst weather imaginable. Can I make one observation on the video's I've seen especially the grey Bentley, please use a wheel cover it prevents all the g3 splash. Not a criticism its just something I always did.

@Robbie-mw5uu
@Robbie-mw5uu 8 ай бұрын
you should wash the car, decontaminate using iron remover, bug/tar spray (if needed), and clay bar. You should also use isopropyl alcohol on the rock chip areas to remove oils. Sanding down the chipped areas with CAMI 1200 grit sandpaper will make the rock chips and good paint level with each other. If the rock chip is on plastic, go ahead and paint. If the rock chip is on metal and you can see bare metal or primer, you need to reapply primer before putting paint. Good luck. Remember to wax the car in three months when the clear coat is fully cured.

If you don't clean the rust it will not bond and flake off, even worst it will keep rusting underneath(depend on how much it's rusted).
