I like thinning the silver down and then putting a thinned coat of Runic Grey on top. it gives it a hint of blue that I like .

The silver is very shiny, I agree. That sounds like a great idea if you want more of an iron or steel look.

I usually thin down the metallics so that they let the highlights through a bit better. Also, Pallid Bone is probably the most versatile color in the entire range. I've used it for bone, skin, hair, fur, cloth, dirt, mud, etc. It has such a great effect when it pools, S tier paint.

Pallid Bone is literally my favorite paint in the set! So good for anything off-white.

nice job, looks really good for the time invested. My only quibble would be the colour selection of the pallid bone... I think it is a little too similar to the skin colour and would have personally chosen something that would seem a bit more distinct from the other tones you were using. Otherwise, its a nice paint job and definitely will look good on the tabletop. Keep up the good work.
