I'm confused, is this kit for beginners or professionals? Is the monomer yellowing or not? Surely a beginner kit shouldnt require experience to use

The description says it’s available to everyone so I’m guessing it’s as beginner friendly as any acrylic set you can buy without a license. I’m not sure about the yellowing though.

This kit is for Everyone. I have a my first video demonstrating how to use it. The number one feature is its a Pro Product for everyone. The main advantage is low or no odour so you can work with it in your home with out disturbing someone who may not like the smell. The next great feature is is sets SLOW. Acrylic is hard to do. A slow set is a huge advantage so you have time to learn how to shape. When you use a catalyst in a monomer to not smell it sets slow, the clear powder can be alittle cloudy just like a hybrid gel. IF the l&p ratio is off it can appear yellow as you get better its not. Its a learning curve like anything. It does not include a primer bc i was focusing on skills before encouraging applying to hands. I am creating videos to learn all the types of nails we can create with this collection. 😊

You can’t make a beginner kit that requires no skill and no reading the instructions for this process. Acrylic nails require a chemical reaction (that’s what curing is) and a certain shape to be properly strong. If you use the product incorrectly then you don’t get it to cure right or the shape is wrong. I think the issue here is that Susie created a kit as part of a course for people to learn proper shaping and technique, and people are expecting it to be like a kit you’d get at the local drugstore that just lets you slap something on your nails quickly and go. Both can be termed for beginners but they are not the same product and cannot be evaluated the same way.

This comment section is an absolute dumpster fire. I sought out the video from LongHairPrettyNails and she was very respectful on the matter. From this comment section I would have gleamed that it was a nasty, scathing review, but this is not the case. It requires a good amount of a monetary investment to create these lines of products that can be accessed by non-licensed persons, so Suzie is taking a huge risk financially every time she releases one of these products. Suzie isn't just making things in her backyard and sending them, the company that developed the chemicals in the product needs to be paid; the bottle/container's design and printing company has to be paid; there's a company that ships the product that has to be paid; even the joyamia storefront's website has to be paid and all these are contributing factors to the capital investment. On top of that the storefront makes a profit as part of the deal with Suzie to take care of most of the grunt work of possibly designing the physical product and shipping it, and then a fraction of a fraction of all the sales gets to be Suzie's own profit. Many other KZbinrs rebrand products related to their channels to make a small profit and to help give their audiences quality products that they can follow along with. Even if you can "get it cheaper elsewhere" there is no guarantee that the product will be of good quality. These professional lines of products that Suzie reviews are expensive. They are all expensive. Why are they expensive, because they are intended to be purchased by salons as inventory that is used to make money at $30-$80 a set. They are not meant for home use. I would take YEARS for someone to go through the powder in this kit. (knowing that the product works with other regular monomers is great for when the beginner is ready to move on to fast setting nails as well.) That being said, I hope in the future Suzie releases a normal monomer product for this line of acrylic powders. LHPN was very happy with the quality of the powder product and how it preformed with a different, fast setting monomer. (I do not know if the monomers are rebranded joyamia products, but hopefully if they are, it would expedite the process of creating a second set of systems). Additionally, It may also be helpful to put a more beginner-centric description on the joyamia page, as it is seemingly absent and someone purchasing directly from the site may be unaware leading to poor in-site reviews, affecting sales. I would also be interested in seeing how one would get rid of the tint, as I've seen some comments on the review video regarding that the tinted layer can be filed off. I watched for this issue closely on LHPN's video and it did seem that when she first cut them off, only the top layer was yellow. It was fairly distinct. If this were included in an upcoming tutorial on your system, I would be hopeful it would cease some of the backlash. In one of your videos you mentioned that the purple color of monomer was to cancel out the natural yellowing of the product; I know you're not actually going to a lab and designing a product here (mixing chemicals and all that), but if a slow-setting, purple-tinted monomer existed, would this mitigate the issue? Also, are there plans in the future once all the kinks have been sorted to release a deal for an all-inclusive starter-type set featuring the full line of products including the brushes, dishes, etc? (I can't recall if you had released an acrylic dish and towel in the past, but I have a vague memory of it.) I do apologize for my utterly verbose response. I am overly invested in product launches and business strategies. Please do not take me as a creditable source as I am just the same as any other commenter, spouting into the void with little to no authority on the matter.
@TrappedinSLC
@TrappedinSLC 4 жыл бұрын
Aisu Roma My understanding is that if you use the right amount of monomer the yellowing is only on the surface as part of the curing process with the low odor and slow curing behavior. LHPN was using a LOT of monomer (hence her having so much trouble with the beads being so wet) and when you do that you get the yellowing all through the nail. The beads with this particular monomer need to be very dry - in this video there’s barely any monomer on the brush when she picks up powder, and the bead actually looks kind of dry and grainy for a bit even after it’s been put on the nail. LHPN’s beads were much much much wetter than that.

I’ve been watching both channels for a long time and LonghairPrettyNails has always made her beads wetter than Susie. It was also a first impression review so she did what she’s used to doing and was seeing if the product worked for her using her technique or not.
@TrappedinSLC
@TrappedinSLC 4 жыл бұрын
the original riah right, but you can’t use a product designed for an entirely different technique and have problems and declare that the product itself is bad and doesn’t work when we are talking about what is effectively the chemical properties of a product. Acrylics, polygel, etc. are all materials that depend on chemical reactions to cure and set up, and if you don’t use things as designed those reactions don’t work right, which results in all kinds of issues, like in this case yellowing throughout the nail.

Ok just so all people can see this I am going to copypaste the response Suzie commented in someone's comment about the girl's video whom acrylic turned yellow just so you all can stop asking about the review and being rude to Suzie (to which she is being respectful as always) I hope ya'll can chill a little and remember the polite person Suzie has always been. No need to throw people under a bus just for some misunderstandings over something that is definitely not important right now. Ok here goes the conversation: Someone asked in a comment if she had seen the review and that the girl emphasized the slow setting monomer and that the product turned yellow when it hardened. Then someone commented "all she said was essentially it was the girls fault who did it, not the monomers issue" Then Suzie replied: "I haven not. This IS a slow setting product - that was deliberate. Im glad she learned that - that is what someone learning liquid & powder needs. If one was to use it expecting it to set faster they didnt understand. If one is inexperienced and they work with wetter beads will have a double hard time as this is designed to set slow. Too wet of a bead is a very common issue- Its important to know the product before you dive in. Misusing a product can frustrate you and make things harder. As for it yellowing, using too much monomer ( a wet bead ) can exasperate a no odour product. To create a no odour a catalyst needs to slow evaporation, a slight tint can occur on the clear, a good trade for people to work at home for their families comfort. 😊 Once the master this they can move up to a faster setting monomer and illuminate the tent all together. But in good time"

Hi Susie . The nail enthusiast. “Long Hair Pretty Nails “ reviewed this kit of yours . I understand it’s for beginners and that’s the reason it’s slow setting . It did yellow pretty much right away . Do you know why it did that ? Some people mentioned that the surface needs filing once it dries . Not sure .... because I mostly work with builder gels and polygel .

Hi Denise and everyone else 👋😘💓 It has to do with the slow setting odor less/free monomer. It main ingredient are not ethyl metachlyrate, it is something called 2 hydroxyethyl metahacrylate . That is why it turns yellow, and is also why it gets tacky, because the chemical balance is a bit off..😞 But please do not kill me if I got the ingredient wrong🙈🙊🤐 But for sure, there is some kind of different activator in this monomer than other faster setting monomers 😉😘 I am not sure if it has something to do with the photoinitiators also 🤷‍♀️

I had a nail salon until my first child was born and tried to continue ... difficult. But I always kept my nails. Then came a period of not having them for many years. Then, I put them back on. Couldn't help but notice the changes in the product over the years. I am now 70 yrs old. I've been doing my own nails yet again for several years now. I knew the products I had access after my pro-license diminished were much different.

Hi Suzie! I'm a 56-year-old mother of 2. I've been getting my nails done since the '80s and I must say I love it! But like most people with the current situation, I had no other choice than to learn how to do them myself. Thank you so much for your videos, they are very clear, and straight to the point. Because of that, I did not lose my nails and I learned something new! I am not sure why some people complain so much but if I don't like a channel I just go to another. Please, continue educating us with your videos! I cannot wait for the next one!

I’m so confused. This is a product that claims to be non yellowing and no fowl Oder. So in a sense as long as your using the product you shouldn’t get the yellowing at all. Am I right or am I wrong? If this is a product that still gives off a yellow tint then why call it non yellowing in the first place and is the claim that it’s non yellowing a true fitting description or not?

You are an inspiration Suzie - Thanks for all the education this week. I am someone who would never have considered applying my own acrylics tips with acrylic or hard gel overlay, sculpting my nails, using Polygel or Dip Powder on my own I would gladly be serviced by an accomplished nail professional . Giving myself a French manicure on my natural nails with my opposite hand was the most complex accomplishment previously . I had been desperately seeking help to fill and rebalance my acrylics before they lifted, watched several of your tutorials this week. Under normal circumstances that would have been done 2 or 3 weeks ago- but these are not normal times- so your advise has been especially APPRECIATED . I found you while researching nail drills and your tips have been Spot on! Learning to do my own nails feels like freedom now. Thank you! And when my drill arrives- I will be able to use do my little Chihuahua's nails and give my husband a pedicure if he plays his cards right...! Now at 61 years-old I find myself wanting to learn acrylics again, since all the gels and gel application techniques in the world cannot quite compete with the feeling of mastery over acrylics, so any idea when your beginner kit might be back in stock? I can understand leaving out the primer since you intend this to be for beginner practice before actual application to real nails but why on earth would there not be a brush included?! Even if it was a pared down standard version and not the (very expensive) blingy signature one, we need a brush to work with even for practice. Heck, at least recommend a budget friendly practice brush if you're not going to include one. Honestly I think providing a brush in lieu of maybe one of the pink powders would have been more reasonable if not willing to include a brush with the whole kit as is. I was ready to make the investment understanding why it doesn't include everything needed for application to real nails but discovering there is no brush at all to work with really put me off, especially considering the price point for your 'signature' brush (which I am sure is lovely and I would love to have in the future) and that being the only brush you offer, leaving me to blindly scrounge on the internet for a hopefully decent brush and pay separate shipping once I find one. It's just perplexing and disappointing. Feels poorly thought out (especially since the kit comes from one site and your brush from another.)

But if i put them in the kit some people who already have brushes would have been upset cause they dont want to pay for another if they already have it- so i thought people could have the option to buy mine or buy a less expensive one if they liked. Okay the hate and accusations have gone way too far in this. I'm a fan of NCE and LHPN, both channels have helped me so much in my education over the years. I'm not sure if this will help with people understanding, but "you can only lead to water, can't make them drink". As a current nail student we are taught to research every system as much as we can and present it to our instructors (because it was part of homework and on written exams). So one part of this is education not only on the chemical makeup of the system but the history of products as well. As per my research from last year at college learning nails (and university for humanities studies), along the years there has been many advances and discoveries in nail technology. Everyone is always learning new things as we go. Those who are learning about certain systems right now have improved benefits from those who have been pioneers of the nail industry before us. Not everyone has full expertise in one type of system or the other, because some of these issues may not have been as well researched and presented as they did through nail schools or even texts as they did before. (I compared with others who are nail techs and apparently they didn't have to refer back to old physics and chemistry textbooks to do their nail course and get certified, like I have to... *cries* lucky girls.) It is not to say that anyone else's credibility, as a nail professional, is diminished or inferior to others. The education of nails in application and what is written in books are simply an entry level into the industry. Everyone is always learning from each other. (it's part of why nails are a fun subject!) The standard and depth of learning each system is also subject to the popularity and usage of product by the service demographic in the area. The other reason as to why others may not have been taught an odorless system correctly/incorrectly/differently (or any other system for that matter) is that there is no universal standard to the practice and development of nail enhancements. It is only within the last couple decades in which standards in which to protect technicians and clients have started to be discussed as a way to promote the health, safety, and reliability of a product and how it is used. Thus why MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) sheets are becoming more requested from nail product manufacturers for nail professionals to use as a base guideline on product safety for their services. So no, not everyone realizes that regular versus odorless acrylic systems may be similar in application, but due to the differing chemical components it could arguably be a different system all together because of how it cures. (Don't even get me started on vapors, chemical reactions, etc... as a subject, ugh...) Each brand that has an acrylic system should be used together for optimal results because they may require different ratios of powder to liquid depending on the amount of each to achieve proper polymerization. (Imagine someone who habitually has a tic tac after eating a lunch with a coca cola, then innocently ingesting a mentos instead, having no knowledge of... well... ya) As for expense, when you can only order a limited amount of product from a manufacturer it is more expensive than higher amounts of bulk. The price probably reflects the minimum requirement of custom made items that have been ordered. In some cases, special batches, colours, and especially labeling plates need to be made. For example let's say a stamp for labeling the exterior of bottles or even the stickers that go on the product. Let's say it costs $25 to manufacture. Then using it on 100 different products makes it more expensive by manufacturing fees, business incidentals, and markup in creating the product and spreading the cost of its usage out to 100 items versus its usage to 1000 products. Small companies need to to be able to make a profit from whatever products they give out. Profit for small businesses in this case are minimal. A lot of what is factored into a markup is paying not only for the time/wages of employees put into the creation of the product as well as fees regarding shipment costs, transportation, phone bills, internet, just to cover the business' ability to stay running. All of that adds up. There are also ethical issues when handling these matters on the price of a product. Depending on the country it is made in it is subject to their capacity of the factory (in their ability of how many products they produce) as well as how much they pay their employees. (Think about made in Taiwan vs made in the UK.) All of that factors into the cost of what it took for Suzie to sell her kit at. So lets theorize that Joya Mia has a smaller factory or resources than let's say CND and cannot produce at such a high capacity for less. (We also need to factor in the chemical testing laws per country which the manufacturer is in and the monetary and liability costs of testing on animals vs humans. Ya, that costs money too and reflects in our product choices.) Oh and taxes... OMG (I took a business course, the research done there made my eyes bleed.) I'm not defending one or another, but giving the reality on what goes into the product itself and why its best to research before blame. I have likes and dislikes about many things. I prefer regular monomer vs odorless because I am impatient by nature, but some brands can trigger my asthma. I like how Max taught his class in Toronto last year (he was super nice to us), upset about his video comments though. I want to try out Suzie's new product, a little weary about not being able to find a public MSDS sheet through Joya Mia's site. And for the sake of proof and whatever, here ya go odorless systems info (hooray for google): Page 334 of At Your Fingertips - The Nail Technician's Companion, By Jane Symington, Karen Peppercorn (books.google.ca/books?id=pxPiBAAAQBAJ) The Ins & Outs of Odorless - by NLS Staff - Published online for Nails Magazine (www.nailsmag.com/391728/the-ins-outs-of-odorless) Are odorless acrylics more prone to yellowing? -Nails Magazine Q & A (www.nailsmag.com/599183/are-odorless-acrylics-more-prone-to-yellowing) Cuccio Odorless (kzbin.info/www/bejne/moKvd2mQeq90qsU) Glitterbells Odorless (kzbin.info/www/bejne/ianZZ2mMhs5-gNU) Ugly Duckling Odorless (kzbin.info/www/bejne/rX2UY2CwaZmrl68) TL;DR Every product is different; everyone has different levels of experience; business markups are confusing, don't drink coke and mentos P.s. Is it worth it to negatively (instead of constructively) argue about nail product and technician's opinions? We are all learning together. I know Covid19 is making people crazy, but if we need to complain about something can we just talk about F***ing Carole Baskin's comment about "sardine oil"? p. p. s. Everyone stay safe! Lots of love from Canada! Enjoy nails!

@@BrightDelight14 Normally i'd agree, but the product claims to be "Non-yellowing". Evie (Long Hair Pretty Nails) made a video of her experience with the kit and it yellowed. After switching monomers, and realizing that the Glam & Glitz monomer didn't cause yellowing, it was clear that Suzie's monomer was at fault. I agree with you that "Having an opinion is one thing but user error is another," but this is not one of those cases.
@BrightDelight14
@BrightDelight14 4 жыл бұрын
Erykah Palmer but that’s the thing, if you use a regular monomer, it’s going to have a different result. Every odorless monomer will yield an inhibition layer which can be discolored. Suzie explained it was from having too wet of a bead which is one issue I notice with Evies videos, every bead is so wet. I respect them both but I’m on Suzies side here. I just think LHPN doesn’t know anything about odorless products. AKA non-yellowing, when used as directed lol

I own the product and there is no yellowing. The product works slow and it’s easy to use for you to be able to shape your nails and take your time. It’s not designed to be done in 30 seconds or less. The reason for that is so you can learn. That’s why is labeled beginners.

I have work with odorless monomer for over two years and let’s just say it work better when you work slightly more dry then wet, as you can see she hardly dip her brush back in to the dapen dish. One thing I have learn is you have to work alternating finger to finger to give it enough time to dry and be able to build your apex. Another thing when it say odorless it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s odorless there still a slight scent so you still want to work in a ventilated Area because the monomer still releases chemicals vapor 💨. Another thing if you want to speed up the drying on the nail you can stick your finger semi lukewarm water.

Guys for those of you who have purchased this set or any other product put out by Suzie or someone else here’s a tip. The best way to make a statement regarding your frustration with a person or brand is to withdraw your support. Don’t buy their products, don’t watch their videos, don’t go to their website. People tend to notice when their pockets are affected. Stop buying things because you “like” a person online. I learned how to do my own nails correctly by watching Suzie for 4 years. However, I have not purchased a thing from her since her enailcouture collab. Want to know why? I know a cash grab when I see one. I am a sucker for esthetic. I love clean, sleek and glamorous products. I would certainly pay a little more for high quality products that look good and make sense financially. The brush Suzie released was absolutely gorgeous!!!❤️❤️. However, in her reveal video I noticed the brush bristles were not high quality. She tried to mask it with editing but I learned from one of the best and unfortunately it was not worth the money. It’s actually not sold out... it’s currently on sale for 20% off. If the brush were let’s say $20-$30 I would have picked it up as a collectors item to support her. However, the price was baffling considering the product and certainly not worth it. P. S she doesn’t read or respond to comments often, she simply likes most comments made within the 1st hour of the video being posted to help with her engagement score on the platform. Trust me, she doesn’t care. I stopped commenting a long time ago when I noticed a pattern. Now I simply soak up whatever info I can get from a video once it’s released, take notes and keep it moving. Sucks but it’s true! Some of my favorite videos were the collabs with Grant 🥰 and her earlier ones that were in-depth and SUPER educational

Im sorry you feel this way. Im not a big company - its just me and my husband and two employees being our family. Im not in position to invest hundreds of thousands of dollars into products- i have to start small. Its very important to have good quality. My brush is high end and will last years because the quality. You may not know but when you dont have tons of money you cant buy huge quanities, the more you buy the less expensive so naturally the smaller amount you buy the pricer it is. This is a boutique brand - as it grows i can purchase bigger quantities resulting in lower prices. This brush i have designed is comparable to high end brushes in our industry. As for commenting i reserve about 20-30 hours a week answering questions and comments, you have no idea the thousands of comments i receive- its impossible to answer or respond to them all. I started this channel as a labour of love, to say ‘i dont care’ is so off base, considering im giving free education to those who maybe cant afford or just need help wether Pro or Non. I released product to everyone, so non licensed nail artist can have good quality too. I put my heart & soul into my channel, my education and my time. A lot of mis information out there. When i gather info and repeat i make sure its accurate and not what someone else says they heard. The comments floating around are false - its sad. Ive connected with lhpn and thanks her for helping me understand how i can improve. She said she wanted to move on as do I. 😊

I would love to try out your acrylics but with a normal setting monomer. Do your powders work with other monomer or just this system? I have spent countless of hours on practice sheets over the last 2 years. And I can tell by the way your beads reacts on paper that if you put the paper in a plastic holder the beads will run all over the place. Even when you make them superdry. Especially since the beads are setting and starts to float after you put them down you will chase that bead for a long time😔 Your practice sheet looks great though👍 Everyone should start there😉 But my personal and humble opinion is that we should all start to work with a more normal monomer, so you get used to working with it right away. But I wish you good luck with your new products😘🎉 Thanks for sharing and stay safe 😘💓💓
@NailsofNorway
@NailsofNorway 4 жыл бұрын
@Me Too Why being so rude? I only wanted to address her new products. I asked if I could buy the acrylic powders in the future and use it with a "normal" setling monomer. Since I am way past working with a slow setting beginners liquid. Suzie was clearly stating that this is a beginners kit. All beginners will definitely benefit from working on a practice sheet. I personally am just past that stage. I also know the difference between working on a piece of paper that soak up the liquid vs working on plastic where you definitely needs to use dry even drier beads so it will not float all over the lines (if your beads do that, you have not cracked the code of liquid to powder ratio yet) I was not going into addressing her monomer in my comment because I have no personal use for it. I don't think it was a problem that I wished her luck with her new products and all the work that she has done to help out beginners.. 🤷‍♀️ I was speaking and asking for myself in this comment here, not for everyone else.

Well yes, LHPN’s nails turned out a bit yellow. But it could be different for someone else. I know she definitely does not have “lack of experience “ and sometimes products will be a bit different with the processing. Maybe she had kind of a weirder batch, idk, but what I’m saying is, Suzie is a very skilled artist and in my opinion, so is LHPN, I don’t think the product isn’t good or anything sometimes things just have different results. Idk man just what I was thinking

What learned after reviewing LHPN vid is i need to improve my communication. Nail Systems perform tasks, i needed to be more clear how the and why this system works. Its all about the L&P and low odour. My Clean acrylic is like a gel where once cured you simple remove the dispersion layer, either by rolling it off or setting under warm water- then file as usual/ its just as white as others. Im editing a video asap. This product did not come with Primer or forms- its designed as a practice kit. Again on me as i need to be more clear - im learning - i may know nails and im learning marketing 😊

Long hair pretty nails is DIY I think. Her review shows that she had issue with the no odor. It’s her first time encountering no odor. To clarify no odor has a yellow film as it dries that needs buffed off. That means her beads were too wet with the odorless monomer.

Petty Why it doesn’t yellow through the nail if used properly. The yellow surface film would be removed with the standard filing done to perfect the shaping. You get bad yellowing all the way through if you use too much monomer.

Thank you! And I dont know about anyone else's licensing exam, but for the state of North Carolina, you have to use a no odor system. I specifically remember my instructor telling us the filmy top layer will file off when shaping.

@TrappedinSLC 4 жыл бұрын
Nekhbet Anwaar I think it’s fair to say that perhaps this kit needs to clarify that “non-yellowing” applies to the full nail, not the film that is removed, and to give clearer information about how wet the beads should be and that if you over-saturate the beads you will have yellowing throughout due to using the product incorrectly, but tweaking information is not the same as a bad product.

@Nail Career Education just take the L and do better next time, me lady. There were comments about how LHPN did not let the primer dry as a reason for the yellowing... but as we can see in her very video, the yellowing was seen on the Soft White acrylic, which only came into contact with the nail former, YOUR name brand brush, YOUR name brand monomer, and the tiniest bit of YOUR name brand foundation pink acrylic.. NOT her natural nail that had a different brand primer on it. And even for the fingers that had clear acrylic and yellowed, you know, the part that DID come into contact with primer, how do we know she didn't let the primer completely dry?? Especially since we can see parts of the video have been edited.. how do we know she didn't cut that segment out? Also, for the other comments talking about LHPN not reading directions, how do we know this? It's just as likely that LHPN DID read the instructions and just once again.... edited it out of the video.. I'm just saying its also a possibilty. Simply put, If a bottle says NON-YELLOWING, then it should not yellow. If there are exceptions to that rule, it should be clearly stated or atleast have an asterisk or something for the consumer to follow up with if they need more clarification... especially if its supposed to be "beginner friendly." And just to clarify, I'm not on anyone's side because I was never planning on buying any system and I happen to watch both channels, religiously. I'm just saying, its okay to take an L, Suzie. As far as the bead being runny as a result of "improper liquid to bead ratio", LHPN been making beads for a minute.. over 10 years.. she's not a beginner. She's by definition not a certified nail tech, but she's also not a beginner. Plus LHPN stated in the video that she had the right kind of bead.. in fact we see LHPN use a different formulated monomer following her same ROUTINE with the same size of a bead. And for y'all talking about, LHPN using too much monomer.... um we cannot even see how much monomer saturated her brush because it is out of frame in the video.. how do we know she didn't just wet the tip like Suzie did in her Liquid to bead ratio video?? Like come on people. Come on Suzie. Its okay to be wrong y'all. Sheeeeshhh 🙄

I’ve been doing acrylic nails since I was in med school. I love to do them and take my time because I don’t sculpt the nails on my natural nails, I do it on false nails because I have to remove them for surgery. So I use a peel off base coat and nail glue and it has been working for years. I will definitely try this kit.

Hi everyone‼️ I’ve been watching Suzie’s videos for awhile now. Like her work and her patience in explaining things. In regards to this video, it can be cured under UV only for 2-4 min. It should not turn yellow. Hope this helps. It is beginner friendly so you can have more time to shape it. Once you think it’s ready... Cure and good to go. Hope this helps☺️. But for the price 😬

I haven not. But in good time

So, practicing with it seems somewhat useless to me. Especially when it comes to liquid powder ratios.

You know you don't HAVE to use it professionally, right? If I wanted to use this on myself just as a hobby it might be the perfect thing to use when getting started. Also some people are extremely irritated (= getting migranes) by strong smells so for them a product like this might be the only way to comfortably have long nails. Even if it's only your partner or kids that have a problem with the smell, if you live in a small or studio apartment you might not be able to keep the smell contained enough for the other people to be ok with it.

I didn't see it when did Suzie "be shady and snarky" in the video, can someone tell me the timestamp, I don't think she meant it that way though, I think she meant Evie was inexperienced with the clean monomer, which she was. There was no demo on it at all, since she got it before this went up. Suzie, I think what would be better is, when the product(s) that you're putting up on market are ready, do a demo on it in a video, and put that up right after you release it, and in the description of the product, put the link to the video so people know there's a demonstration of how to use it. I'm no market guy, but I think this would help avoid the misunderstanding of what happened.
