I didn't listen to it while sleeping but rather while doing other activities like drawing or housework. Repeating outloud while you do other things is actually really helpful. Very useful learning aid if you can't listen to things while you sleep like me. Thanks for posting

Yea to be honest sleep learning seems unhealthy to me. Our brain needs rest for a reason. To process everything you have done during the day. I don't see how sleep learning can be healthy while your brain is processing other things.

There was a 2017 study on learning languages while sleeping. You're not going to wake up speaking Spanish, but the study concluded that you'll be more familiar with the words. And since she's giving you the English translation first, it may gives us the connection while sleeping. I woke up he called me from the store told me to hold on and I actually comprehended some of what was being said in spanish and I never had that before. This works just have to be consistent and open to it.

I speak English, getting alright at Spanish, and quite fluent in a real mashed up mess of English that's spoken in 2 pacific nations near Australia. It's like heavily slang with shortened words, REALLY limited grammar, and native words mixed in as well. Most consider it almost it's own language (Neo Solomonic which is extremely accented and the clearer Bislama). I would sit there watching it with subtitles and you can pick out the translation fails and bits they missed out so they didn't have to type it on the screen. It gets funny when that happens.

I’d recommend listening to this while doing chores , or just relaxing . Try to focus don’t think too hard . Listen to it while you sleep as well obviously, the more your brain hears a word or phrase the more you will be familiar with that word or phrase . Won’t happen on the first try don’t give up

Same here, but less than 3/4. All grandparents born in the USA-3 fluent Spanish speakers as was my father. Mother 1/2 Italian. Unfortunately, if we were not taught when growing up, I feel we put too much pressure on ourselves due to the ethnic Hispanic/Latino, etc. I was pretty good when I was younger and understood what family was talking about, plus 2 years Spanish in HS. This doesn’t work in the instance you’ll wake up being able to carry on a conversation but I know a good amount of Spanish already so it keeps it fresh in my mind & will help anyone already trying to learn the language. I did this with German & while I can’t carry on a conversation, I was able to remember a good amount of words.

this is a great way to learn basic spanish. Eat , sleep, and wake up hearing spanish is a proven way to learn like any job, you put effort into it day in and day out, you can achieve anything you want

This is really great of you to do for people. That’s a LOT of work! K going to nap and see if I can learn more. I have an audiobook that teaches you basic Spanish and I fell asleep listening to it and woke up knowing a bunch of words as if I always knew them. So I did it again for a week straight. It’s a 4 hr audible beginner one. That’s what made me start searching these videos out. This really does work. Not right away but absolutely works. Our subconscious is incredible. If the human mine was a computer it would be the size of a football field three stories high. And would take the power of a small city to run. Yet our brains runs off what a few watts. Peek if like 1,000 I think. We are some pretty darn efficient and amazing little machines. Ok I’m gonna shit up time to get our spanish on! Woop
