Rushie... Iam still having major trouble with the Mayweather crossover but I am studying like a sponge and trying to remember all your tips and tricks. I am however getting more success skips verses trips doing the alternate Uncross / Cross version... As always, practice practice practice! Your still #TheKing 🤙

This is the video that finally unlocked the move for me. Another helpful tip I got from your previous video is to keep the grip on the handle relaxed. This makes it a lot easier to flick the wrist. Thanks so much Rushie!

One thing that helped getting the DUXs is I stopped doing it and decided to to learn and do the Double Cross Unders instead. DXUs got me to use my wrist so to have that double rotation while my hands stayed crossed. When I went back and learn the DUXs Mayweather style, it became more natural to use my wrists. And with you emphasizing wrist motion, I can see it more how important that wrist motion is.

Sometimes if you take things literally you 'll miss the point, but you also missed the message in the end of the video. Yes, you can execute this move in month or two but still you'll look not like a beginner but a beginner hit by 440V AC. To be able to execute the move is one thing, but to be slick is something very different. Skipping is a journey, takes time, and slickness takes years, literally! Unfortunately not suitable for instant pop-up athletic artists.

@muhammadahmedsadiq28493 жыл бұрын
10 feet I think, coz Everytime he unboxs a new rope, he puts 1 knot on each side, and on some videos he just unboxed the rope and used it without any knots

I still can’t get the crossover down pat. I think I’m too tall for my rope.
@stephenblidgeon95513 жыл бұрын
Eh man I started practicing this move about 4 years ago and I then found myself able to do it. But technique was all over the place when I watched it back. I'd say firstly make sure your rope is the correct length. Then what made the change for me was slightly bend the knees each time you jump. Creates more space for the rope, and now I'm much better.
@liqdelshaun3 жыл бұрын
@@stephenblidgeon9551 yeah I have the rush athletics one. It’s at the longest length and it’s still kinda short for me. I try to bend my knees and lean forward every time. I think the hardest thing is continuing rotating my wrist at the 2nd cross. Just gonna keep practicing.
@liqdelshaun3 жыл бұрын
