Rush Athletics TV yoo bro question. My son is 7years old and love jumping rope with the weighted rope, is he good doing that? Or is it to much strain on his body? Should we stick to regular rope?

What I like about your channel is you also display your mistakes. Respect ✊🏽
@weeklywash5 ай бұрын
I find that if you hold the second rope between your middle finger and flying finger it is less likely to get tangled. Also IF you have a sticky rope and it does get tangled if you make sure to put your hand behind the elbow when doing the side cross you will get it untangled faster. This video helped me a ton

I love to skip, I’m 63 with dodgy knees but I find skipping actually really helps my knees, I don’t do much of an uplift, I also have to do technique’s tricks etc that ensure that both feet are more or less touching the floor at the same time, for instance no way can I hop on one leg, it’s frustrating and hacks me off but I still love skipping, basic bounce heel /toe taps and mummy runs seem to work best for me. Tutorial’s for old hits would be great😂
