Who's favorite weapon is the Bo ?

I prefer the hanbo or jo to the bo as when it comes to walking around a 3ft to 4ft staff attracts less attention on a hike than a 6ft staff.

I love staff. Though realistically, knife be my favorite. Small, powerful, hidden, and capable of self-defence.

I’m a mid rank color belt, for me the Bo is a good start, Bo techniques are entry level for balance, there are some simple forms I can learn and it’s fun. Maybe I’m wrong but that’s the way I see it. I have a standard 6 foot white pine Bo that I’m working with.

I meant to say in my post a minute ago. I train in ATA Songahm Taekwondo ( American Taekwondo Association) where I am a Black Belt. Which now has split. Some stayed Traditional ATA Others went to what is now referred to as Global Traditional Martial Arts. Some forms might be a little shorter but now involve the Bo Staff with the forms.

how about all the bo Staff Forms and What belts they are required at. All the way from Blue to black Belt to include 1 st. .2nd and 3rd Degree Blk Blt
