More inspiration, thanks Al. Because of you, this week, at the age of 54, I finally did an unassisted pull-up. Keep up the good work!

I finally achieved a > 30 sec handstand after 3 months of training! My personal advice is to not rely on videos to learn the handstand. No matter how good you understand it in your mind, your body still needs to learn it through incessant repetitions. Videos such as this one do help inspiring us to keep trying every time we fall.

Great tutorial. I’ve done wall assisted handstands but when I try to do frog stands the next step in convict conditioning I just keep falling over. Nothing I do works please help! Love the channel and your books!

I think frog stand to hand stand is a key exercise. But it really helps to keep your gaze fixed on a point (ie. a little in front of your hands on the floor). Because if your eyes move around (especially as a beginner), then your body is more likely to move off balance as well.

It may look like that but you'll get used to it and your body will adapt, it's important to breath tho. I got slight dizzy when i first started practicing but it wore off rapidly. Just breath normally so your blood can circulate. Also if it's your first time practicing when you lower your legs don't immediately stand up, stay crouched for a couple of seconds and raise slowly.

I've been working on getting to a freestanding handstand for 6 months. Any pointers to get there faster or should I just continue to somewhat enjoy the journey?

Thanks Al, Alright then, that's going to be one of my goals. I must say I'd be a little apprehensive about falling over without a wall for support and especially doing a hand-stand on a park bench eeek. Need some padding for a crash... Thanks for the vid, ~Leo
