Thanks Ryan, I always try and do these videos in accordance with the actual airplane manuals when I can find them.

That’s awesome. Any luck finding English translated manuals for Russian and German aircraft?
@RequiemsACTL5 жыл бұрын
@@ryanjohnson4055 no not really. Let's just say I've spent many hours in google translate copying individual language letters from a pdf into it. The German became easy enough to recognize for me over time without a lot of translation...Russian always took the longest though

Thank you, thank you, thank you. When you were showing the procedure before taxiing, is where I saw what I was doing wrong. I had the H. Stab/ set wrong, and the flaps too low. As I said when I wrote you a comment earlier, the b.f. 109, G6 was the only one I was having trouble with. Even the FW 190 A5 which I had issues with, until you showed me what I was doing wrong - Now, I only have issues trying to take off in the 190 with 500 pound bomb strapped beneath. Thank you, I shall go and see if I can get the 109 off the ground now. Oh, by the way. Remember you saying it was my joystick causing the problem? Well, I went out and tried every other plane to see if was having issues, and I did not. Only the 109 G6. But now I know what I was doing wrong. Thank you for your very valuable service!!

Excellent to hear Michael! Glad it looks like you figured out the issue. How are your takeoffs/landings in the G6 now?

Could you do a video that briefly shows the differences (advantages/disadvantages) of the various BF-109 models?

That would be interesting Zac, I'll see if I can do something covering that.

Do you know if, regarding the flight model in IL-2 BoX, the exact temperature affects power output, even if it's not overheating or overcooled? Like for the Bf 109 G-6, Optimal water temp is 100° and max is 115°; would there technically be a power difference between an engine that is 90° vs 100° vs 110°? Assuming all other factors are equal of course.
@RequiemsACTL5 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't expect there to be an appreciable difference. Just a matter of respecting the limits in place. The further you get away from that optimal operating range the more performance will start to degrade over time.

how does the radio compass work? do you have tutorial? thx in advance

No I don't have a tutorial on that yet as it's not fully functional.

Regarding pilot's notes, do you have any information on max speed for flaps at positions other than full extended, such as halfway extended, 20% extended, etc.?
@RequiemsACTL5 жыл бұрын
No I don't sorry, I have a G-6 manual (among other 109 variants) and they don't mention anything about partial extensions, so although those limits would be at higher airspeeds I have no idea.

Hi, is the "Schmierstoff drücken" switch active? When do you use that switch?
@RequiemsACTL6 жыл бұрын
That switch is not controllable as during the automated startup sequence it flicks on to arm your weapons. As I understand it Schmierstoff drücken is related to the dual temperature gauge in the 109s (if you push the button in RL you read the oil temperature). I'm not a 109 expert so if you happen to find a different answer let us know!
@1SaG6 жыл бұрын
@@RequiemsACTL Your explanation is correct. Schmierstoff = oil. Well, more accurately it would translate as "lubricant", but, hey... :)

Hey man the 1 minute max power, is it accumulative? Or can I use it many times for 30 secs watching my temperatures for example ?
@SadenIsWatchin3 жыл бұрын
Yes. If you don't exceed 1 minute and pull back the throttle, after a bit of time you can just use it again. It isn't accumulative.

i have a question, i've learned to finally keep the plane going straight on the runway to take off, but every single time as soon as i actually take off from the runway the plane instantly does a roll towards the left and crashes. anybody know what i'm doing wrong here?

i've figured it out, i didn't let the plane build up speed at take off, instead i took off as soon as able and so the drag at low speed cause the roll, thanks for the tips!

@@RequiemsACTL I'm 2 years late, but how would you list the best to worst bf109?`I like the G6 because of the 30mm cannon option, but I actually do not know which is the best. I read that the f-4 is among the best, but it seems a bit underpowered vs the newer aircraft in terms of speed. And that landing was absolutely perfect, smooth as it gets.
@RequiemsACTL4 жыл бұрын
@@MercenaryZack I'm not an expert on Bf 109s...so someone may have a better idea than me, but I like G-14, K-4, F-4, G-2, G-6, F-2. E-7 in that order.
