You nutter,fakie fs 5-0 as a warm up to the trick! I’m going to try it but I just got fakie fs stall, it’s so interesting to see skateboarding being so unique to every skater. Another great revisit. 👊🏼

Great tutorial Jon, many thanks. The slow mo at the end really helped as I'm always struggling with my upper body position. The slow mo shows the 'wind up' of your upper body. More slow mo would be great!

Got it to 5.0 every time but tail is nearly always touching. Coming in is fine like this. But Can’t seem to get that smooth pivot only on trucks. When I do I don’t feel in the right place to drop in. Tips?
@JonBishopSkate4 жыл бұрын
Hey dude, sounds ace, yeah, I found that the balance point for me was having the body more forward into the pivot than I thought, combined with the front knee being more bent than a thought? You could experiment with finding the balance point by setting up on the tail 5/0 and then leaning forward until balanced? For me it was natural to lean back, so it was a case of developing the counter intuitive aspect of doing the opposite? That is purely subjective, I’d imagine some guys would find they need to lean back more as leaning forward is more natural??? Let me know how you get on, if you have any clips feel free to DM me on Instagram @jonbishopskate

Hi Jon, just for info you are quoted in this Spanish vid on senior skaters kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmfanKp9mrGgrJI It says you are 50 y/o, thought you were younger ! Nice one man, I am working right now on the fakie fs pivot stall, quite similar

@@JonBishopSkate Still a long track to the 50's label, enjoy it, you are honestly ripping it :) Fine here, skating much more in the micro than in the bowl, getting a bit afraid of heights. Went surfing last week after two months (no possible during the lock down), oh man it was hard with the water freezing and poor physical condition. Hopefully 2021 will offer more skating and surfing session. Best wishes !

@@danielsenovillahernandez9302 yeah, I have a bit of surfers ear, from years of surfing, so it has to be good to go out in the uk in the winter lol! I wear plugs, but if any water gets in it can be not so great!! Can’t wait for the warm water action !!

@@JonBishopSkate yep, had surf ears surgery (both) around 10 years ago. Not nice stuff for sure. Gonna check the new vid you'd posted :)
