This is me right now, taken like 8 lessons so far and i still consistently make mistakes with being too aggressive with clutch control or for example when steering to the left instead of following the curb i steer too wide and end up on the next lane.

In all my lessons, I had never messed up pulling up on right manoeuvre. During my test, I was so relieved to get this one that I messed up. Pulled up on the right fine…but then didn’t straighten up, so when I reversed, went back at an angle…then instead of sorting it…just drove off…😂😂 Still passed though…

Because roundabouts are such a tricky situation, I think it's good practice to slow down properly up to the give way line in order to really assess the oncoming traffic. Stop if there are vehicles apporaching. That'll give you time to understand what's the intention of the vehicles (signals or no signals)

but you have to drive in all traffic situations otherwise you won't be a perfect driver. if you're only allowed to drive in calm situations, you won't be able to cope with the traffic in the end. 😏 You must be able to drive in traffic chaos, slippery road conditions, night driving etc 😄

Doing a new manouver makes you feel a rookie againmate its natural the amount of times i felt the excact same way and your instructor will repeat, repeat, instructions that you already know and you feel like how the fuck am i forgetting this but itjist shows you care and have a high level of self awareness and you know you can do better. With anything in your lessons be patient and observe your instructor is never rushing you, we all learn at a different pace. Good luck lad. I passed first time 3 minors. Tears, arguments, stress everything in lessons but you will get thier!!!!

@@johnyprince7718 we can start practice driving at 16, and then take the test at 18. in those two years, most of them have time to get a really good foundation before the real driving lessons. we also attend risk training courses 1 & 2 which cost SEK 2,700, driving lessons SEK 400-600 per lesson, books SEK 300. all in all average SEK 15,000.

@@johnyprince7718 You must do a risk training before taking the knowledge and driving test for authorization B. The training consists of two parts: Part 1 deals with alcohol and drugs, fatigue in traffic and other risky behaviour. Part 2 deals with, among other things, speed, safety and driving in different road and weather conditions. learn to drive on slippery surfacesis included in this part.

@@johnyprince7718 well yes, are you trained to drive in an environmentally friendly way then with a manual? if you are from England or abroad, you will probably be surprised at how much is required of a driver when you take the test. So I do not know. most of them are very used to driving manually here and then still end up at 15000,

Now im told its a fail if you ask to be let out with a signal (stopping traffic). so what was the difference with that bus? or were you just dispensing with the test rules to get on with the lesson
@epsleon
@epsleon Жыл бұрын
The difference is how you impact the traffic. The ethos of UK driving rules is to be predictable and have as little of an impact on other road users as you possibly can. The first time the traffic was going at speed and was just one car. Signalling that you're pulling out could make them slow/stop needlessly, because you can easily go after they pass, thus it's bad to do so. At the bus, the traffic was slow moving and constant, so waiting for it to pass isn't a reasonable option. Someone letting you pull out would have negligible impact on the flow of traffic, so it's fine to put on your signal and wait for someone to let you out.
@joshlucas4269
@joshlucas4269 Жыл бұрын
@@epsleon spot on! You can't use ur signal to ask to be let out when it's FLOWING traffic. When its stop-start traffic thats fine.
