I really like this vid because you show us the way of how to fix a "mess up". I know you didn't really mess up, more what can happen. Your way of teaching shows me how to "just let go and not aim for the "perfect" picture" every time I paint. This should be fun and watching your demos really helps me getting looser and "just do something" no matter the outcome. I love street scenes also and your vids really help me "see" and make the reference pic more simple.

Talking your process through is so helpful because decision making is the hardest thing when painting a watercolor. I love your use of colors. Great job, Liron. Thank you

I like the more colorful you in this painting. Wish to see you use more color in totes! Thanks again for morning incentive!

The content of this painting seems to be relatively simple. In fact, painting is more difficult. You use more conservative and progressive coloring. Light is mainly expressed in a relatively easy to understand way, such as light and dark contrast, without using more complicated light refraction relationships. It can make the audience feel that painting is easy and increase their confidence in learning. And your explanation is clear. I think this is a very popular way.

This turned out amazing! You did a rad trick at 6:05ish where you rinsed a blue handled brush and came back from rinsing with a black handled brush. 😉 I noticed because I was trying to figure out the brush you were using. I enjoyed this lesson so much that I am going to try to paint these buildings and it will be my first real attempt at painting structures. Much Love and Respect as Always, Stacy

I liked the way you applied that second glaze to the background and the lifting. It made it look blurry and pushed it back, lovely effect.

I think this painting turned out very nicely, although I agree the addition of a few figures would have added to it. I really like the contrasts here, especially where you have a rather abstract background, and then nice graphic lines. Colors are great, pinkish tones against burnt sienna or dark brown shades work well. Very informative and enjoyable video. Thank you.

The top of the door is to close to the bottom of the window, no room inside for a ceiling between the floors, compare with photograph . I love your use of light and dark , very much enjoyed thank you .

Those details don’t take away from the feeling of the finished work tho. I get so caught up in that stuff that I lose what he captures, which is the sense of being on a sun drenched street. I would hate to loose that for one realistic detail.

26:16 Wow! I would never have the guts to have done that! But now seeing that you did it successfully, I won't hesitate next time in doing this when I need to neutralise a competing background.

Shutters? Storm shutters! Blinds are for inside no? I don't know I'm from New England and we say shutters for outside and blinds for inside! Just saying! I really love your tutorials, and am learning so much! Thank You very much! Can Tempera or gouache be used also/instead ? And Would you explain the differences between watercolor, tempera and gouache paints? And have you used them yourself at all? Thanks again!! OK BYEE

Nicely done. The large drying shift and slight chalkiness (in the darks) could be from the paper.

@@carolatchley3797 There was a brief, half-second image of Liron. It looked like it was from the beginning of the video. This happened several times throughout the video when I watched it. But I just watched it again, just now, and it's gone!
