As a skateboarder of 10 years, I find this incredible. She learned all of that in just 30 days. When I first started skating, I would just ride my skateboard outside my house, every now and then without learning any tricks, for a whole year. I only got inspired to learn tricks when I moved to a different neighbourhood where there were two kids who skated as well, and they showed me how to do an ollie, Front 180 and then a heel flip. The Front 180 was actually easy to learn because whenever I'd try to Ollie, my board would turn at a 90 degree, so I decided to just make it turn 180 degrees. Once I had those 3 tricks I became addicted to skateboarding.

@Ireikes4 жыл бұрын
@@tomholland949 I'm also pretty new. 8 is a really good medium size, I have an 8.25 because i have size 13 men's shoes. Your trucks should be pretty easy just choose them to fit with your deck size, wheels should be 52 to 54 mm, bones and spitfire wheels are good. Bones reds bearings are kind of the standard, it's what I use too. Honestly, you could go with a 'prebuilt' board for your first, just make sure it's not a walmart board. It's not like pc building where the prebuilts are a ripoff. If you need more help, just go to a skate shop and they can help you select stuff as well as put it together. As for price, I spent about 140 for my first board, but you can go way cheaper. I just went a little high because I didnt need to buy trucks (I spent 100 actually) and because I was already good at Ollie's and shuvits.

Anabelle Supreme my advice for men and women who are beginners who are having a hard time with the simplest of tricks is to buy a balance board (surfers use them alot to practice balance) u can literally practice ur balance while watching tv in ur room or in ur living room. its basically a board with a barrell attached to the bottom of the board at the center . the most important thing in skateboarding is balance. Another important thing is confidence and commitment, u will never land anything unless u let go of the fear and fully commit to what it is ur attempting if u fall u fall

yooooo, not in a discouraging way, but really, I think its not best to hit up a skate park with the small amount of skill you have. It can sometimes make you feel like everybodys watching you and seeing people do crazy tricks can be a little discouraging (as seen in this video). Terrible for a beginner. Maybe just in your driveway, or your room, backyard or something. Also, it's better to get the basics down. Before doing an Ollie, it looks like shes still a little wonky on the board. She should get used to riding the board fast and loosen her trucks to get better with balance. Then tighten her trucks little by little to find her exact spot on the loose and tight spectrum. Basics cant be stressed enough. Regardless, its amazing to see a new skater. You learn a lot about yourself and life honestly. Just wanted to give some advice, since I had a lot of trouble when I first started. Keep on shredding 🌊🌊

GamesAndSuch Well I aint no poser. And its suggestion yo, yeah some people skate loose others skate tight. But Im just saying it cuz I know a lot of people skated loose and slowly tightened them to find their right spot. I think starting a little more loose is just better sometimes cuz you learn with less control, once you tighten, you have more control on top of what youve already learned. And who cares about posers man, just skate and have fun. Loose trucks doesnt mean somebodys a poser, like you said, its all preference.

I just recently picked up skateboarding after 9 years. Watching your video was great for my confidence because you were so positive the entire time. Skating is difficult, but it’s fun and can be so rewarding. Respect for all the female skaters, we need more in the sport. All are welcome!

okay yes but you have to get the right size and use thick socks suited for skating. You also have to let the shoe grow in on you but it does hurt your ankle if it is loose.

Libra Potato i just started skating after longboarding for about two years on a pintail. It’s pretty similar, but turns are a lot smaller and the board is a bit less stable. I found that I enjoy cruising on my skateboard more than my longboard now. The trick is to just cruise a lot and then the tricks will come easier :)
