Marek Mazur Exactly. They cannot speak Polish intelligibly enough (speech defect, grammar problems, dumb behaviour), and they don't have any experience with teaching. Speaking a language is not enough to know how to teach it, that is, present the subject in such a way that a foreigner could understand it.

For all the people saying on this and other vids the Polish speak too fast, use the pause button and watch sections in stages. You can take in more then. Even repeat/rewind and focus on a word to hear its pronunciation.. This is the norm of conversation, that's how it is.

. A tutaj co mamy? K*rwa mać, podaj mi fajkę, itd. . Zaprezentowaliście Nasz kraj jako bande idiotów. In comparison with other countries you showed us (Polish people and our language) very bad. You should to chose few different questions or asked for help people who walked by the street because you create help movie with basic Polish language and you need thier help. For example: Could you help me Sir? Where is nearest shop or embassy? I speak polish language very low, etc. . And what we have got here? F*uck, Give me a cigarette, etc. Please look on movie with basic German or basic French and think about your job. Excuse me if my English was not correct.

Pawelus !

Those series should be deleted. I am polish, and I really do like easy languages series. It pains me to see such an approach. The very first episode seems so like "testing a microphone" . I am not saying that this ought to be proffesional right off the bat. BUT.. at least some decency.. this is kiddy grade video. Yeah.. in short.. okey we will make some video -so let's teach them what we know.. ohh yeah.. most common swearword. Whatsmore "Say that poland is a beautiful country"? You guys really mean it? It is a disgrace. Please remade/redo/delete the very first episode. Take whatever means neccessary. It is just plain wrong. And to directors of this video... take an example from easy german videos. That approach is great.

Polyglot Legend If you learn from dumb people, like the authors of this video, then it sure is impossible. But if you learn from people who are good in learning languages and they show you their techniques, patterns they figured out etc., then it can be very easy. That's why knowledge is precious and why you won't get it from random people.

Hi KingMacintosh: There's a warning at the beginning of the videos that says these are for seeing what language is like in the "wild," or something like that. If you want to learn Polish you need to go somewhere else. If you want to catch people using the little phrases you've picked up somewhere else, you can come here and see them in action. I am beginning to learn Polish myself and this video was very instructive and funny.

@Robertoslaw.Iksinski
@Robertoslaw.Iksinski 9 жыл бұрын

A good one, except for the silly zooming. You should do some episodes with more "streetwise" Polish. Just because some language purists don't like non-standard Polish or slang doesn't mean it doesn't exist or that you shouldn't care about understanding it. Language learners should learn languages as they are actually used, not according to some abstract ideal that few people care about. E.g. in Polish, purists may tell learners that ę should be nasal at the end of words, but that pronunciation just sounds silly and posh in everyday language.
