@@boscovich11 it doesn’t work yet with direct injection. The only one that works, as far as I know, is Motec, but it’s very expensive. It's good to take notice that Fueltech was born in racing. This is real performance, proven with the fastest FWD cars in the world in Brazil and some of the fastest RWD cars in the world in the USA. Also it's street proven, with thousands of street builds with loads of features that include even flex fuel capabilities. So you can run any blend of E0 to E100 with it. This is the dream of any one that wants performance in Brazil

I am very interested in this unit. Just curious about how to wire that up for my R32 gtr...?? Im sure its possible
@hpa1016 жыл бұрын
G'day Sean. Yes, would absolutely be possible to install into an R32 GTR. I'm not 100% sure the factory RB trigger pattern would be supported at the moment, but you'd be best to replace the original optical sensor with either a lower tooth count pattern disc, or a variable reluctor setup, as they interface much better with aftermarket ecu's in general :-). If your OEM wiring is in good shape, build a harness that extends it up to the gauge cluster, install the fueltech, and you'll be away :-). - Zac.

@andrevaramos3 жыл бұрын
Same functions and more. Didnt know your display, so searched for it. It can be configured to display different info and has datalog capabilities. Fueltech is a full standalone ECU, so the display (also fully configurable) and datalogging is just two of its many features. You can also add traction control, wideband, closed loop correction, timing control, suplementary injectors, dwell x tension and many more. Apart from really traditional motorsport ECUs (motec and syvecs come to mind), fueltech (and other similar standalone ECUs such as Octtane, Injepro, Pandoo, Megasquirt) are probably the next best thing for people in the racecar business, since you can basically change anything about the way the engine works and adapt to any settings required.

@hpa1012 жыл бұрын
Yes every product is not for everyone one, there are pros and cons for them all for sure. A unit like this does have some distinct setup and wiring advantages over adding an extra display and logger, but if you don't need those advantages you don't need them. Remember this is essentially 3 different items in one, ECU, logger, dash display. Sometimes though you do trade off saving money for spending extra time setting things up. Some people would rather trade that money for their time to spend it on other things instead. I think if you manage to break the screen on this though in a race application, it's probably the least of your worries for what else on the car is damaged 😉 - Taz. PS: Note we don't sell any ECUs, and everything has pros and cons, even if it's yours, ours, or someone elses most favourite solution for their specific application.
