When you look at oem parts in later model cars it seems the rods are the weakest part. The pistons seem to be able to handle a decent amount of power over stock

Andre does his best to explain but it can be tricky! If there is anything you are unsure of and want to know, drop a comment. There are a lot of helpful people also watching these and sometimes I can link you to other content that has explanations on other things for you too 😎 - Taz.

Something must of changed for the wide journal bearing as when it was release it used an off the shell bear part number. I can’t remember what part but I think it was the JZ. So surprised when he said it was a special bearing.

You might be thinking of the Bullet block and Callies crank combination. That uses a 2jz main bearing - Taz.

I guess you have to be a nerd from your part of the world to benefit from this information. I don’t even know what maker these engines originate from. I’m out.

Nissan.. trust me, these engines are well known at this point, I assumed worldwide. Where are you from?

What is done and why is interesting regardless of the specific engine, if you're into that sort of thing. If not that's also OK, we are catering to the 'car nerds' which are a smaller percentage of the population for sure 😎 - Taz. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWnSqZ6Vltt9Z68 kzbin.info/www/bejne/e6fWiqOnosd8oZo www.hpa-tunedin.com/
