Cross your t's, dot your i's, take a look at the last six months of maintenance reports on that truck if you can and have a completely different mechanic shop take a look at it and check your Def system for you. Hey Frank, those paccar engines have a problem with coolant mixing with engine oil if you can find a mechanic to do a pressure test to make sure if its not leaking inside your engine it would be great. It can cost you a lot money to fix it when that happens. My boss had 3 petes and 2 Kenworth with the same issue around 500,000 to 600,000 miles. Stay safe out there

If so did you get the comfort package they don’t tell you about the comfort package which covers the starter, alternator, compressor & others stuff that you think would be included with the engine but it’s not unless you get the additional comfort package with the extended warranty

Make sure it reports on your personal credit and not just business credit. I bought a truck and paid for 2 years and had no personal credit built. If you have a truck with over 300k miles you need at least $80k for maintenence saved. I spent over $50k in repairs in a little over a year. I had a Premium 2000 aftermarket warranty and it didnt cover shit. Maybe $4000 out of $50k in repairs and the warranty was like 6k! Better to save for a brand new truck in cash. No matter how long it takes.

Also, parts ( such as filters, alternators, starter, belts compressor...)can be purchased from your local auto parts store; unlike thermo king. Run.. don't walk away from that truck dude! My buddy has that same truck he bought from a fleet. Tons and tons of issues. He has that warranty-$500 deductible each time. Last year he was down about 3+ months. Warranty and work is about $50K in the last 6 months. Engine light is always on. Truck always worked on by MHC. The sales man is lieing to you saying they bought it for $57K. They offered him $25K for his truck even after they did all the work. Kill the deal dude. Look at the Volvo's or Mack's.

Replace the cap that cap don't supports' to do that. That lock screw is not locking. See if you can collect a oil sample and cooling sample. read that warranty some of them warranty will not cover soon thinks like a car. Take that warranty to a mechanic that you know read it over. I bought warranty when I first started over 20 years ago. It was a waste of money . My injection cup nozzle came off went into the turbocharger. I went to use the warranty. In cat they say it wasn't covered. Just read it good before you buy it. I have my same truck in use it sent 2005. One truck one problem. Make sure you have work for this truck you buying. I know a lot of people told you it a bad time to buy a truck. Good luck. Maker sure you get over $3.60 a miles. Put $0.20 cent a mile to the side for maintain.

Even when took cared cleaned and replaced all wire harness it will alway comes back few miles down the road 3 years company . Not hating just letting you know the headache the engine comes with. 2017+ Peterbilt and kenworth. Mack only scr/def I got that now. Scared of emission truck .

I never leased because not much benefits for me in leasing other then riding down the highway in something new, they break down too . I have a 07 Freightliner century class and had it since 400k miles. But what I was trying to say is most should get close to a million before the rebuild. You ask the public what we think , and I commented. It’s ridiculous that some of y’all youtubers can’t take constructive criticism and write it off as being negative🤷🏽‍♂️. I been driving for 18 years , leased on to companies with my trucks in between and had my authority for the last 5 years . And I’m humble enough to still take advice . Constructive criticism is cool with me but it’s a lot of A**holes replying with the negativity and I’m bout positivity. From the looks of it the report said head gasket leak, coolant reservoir and rear main seal so that was taken care of.
