Who needs a lathe LOL! I really enjoyed this video Grant and very much enjoyed the way you shaped that ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing handle. The function of the maul means it must not slip and a cylinder would not prevent that. Well fitting for the hand it will be very satisfying to use. Good to see you actually demonstrating its use also. Good luck in the competition! 🎬🔨🔨🔨👍😀

Hello Grant, Another good idea. You've created a good handle. You did a nice job without a lathe. You've done a great styling with belt sander. I don't have a lathe either. Sometimes I use the drill machine for this job :-). Thank you for sharing. See you. Big greetings. I wish you healthy and beautiful days. Cheers Dude. (your video end shots were fun)

That handle came out great. Your use of the belt sander is quite unique. I don’t think I’ve seen one used that way. You’re still living dangerously when you drill holes in small parts. One of those wood hand screw clamps is pretty cheap insurance for your fingers. 😉

It looked like you were about the make love the the thing there in the last seconds: I HAVE a QUESTION! . Why is the mallet round? when the purpose seems to be to use it on very fine leather working tools, so slipping off seems like a real problem if you miss the mark by a tiny bit. the audio level changes are a bit jarring when you have sound turned up all the way, perhaps a little more gradual transition next time. Also excellent choice on the swing-type music when you are hand sanding around 3.00
@TheGrantAlexander
@TheGrantAlexander 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Yves! I think it is personal preference on round vs flat. If it is flat you can easily be a bit off angled and then screw up the hit. You can google it and find people arguing which is better and why for days and days🤣🤣 this is the first round one I've used and it seemed to work really nice 🤷 I'm not sure which audio levels you are talking about, can you tell me the minute mark? I've done it the same way for all my videos, so I hope they haven't been jarring this whole time.
