He said a lot more than he was the catch. Yes. Simone was there. And she looked cheesy and uncomfortable. It’s been proven that Mr. Biles DOES know about gymnastics and other gymnasts because Mr. Biles made numerous tweets about Gabby Douglass and the Olympic gymnastics team in a previous Olympics. The Biles’ family brought their mess to us. We didn’t go chasing after them wanting to know their business-they did the interview. It went viral for good reasons. Even the pod cast bros didn’t believe Mr. Biles. Simone Biles isn’t just another random gymnast. She is already LEGENDARY. Statues will be erected of her. She already has FIVE gymnastics tricks named for her and that is historically PERMANENT. Her moves are so difficult and dangerous that the world gymnastics governing officials don’t know what to do to safeguard less talented athletes from hurting themselves other than to not award the tricks with the appropriate difficulty points which leaves Simone NOT doing her own tricks because it’s not worth her putting in the effort for such low point upgrades. She’s already won without the added values. She literally IS her only competition. The dangerous part about “dismissing” what Mr. Biles said is that you gamble on making it seem ok for him to humble and degrade her and this could potentially lead to innocent younger girls and women think your advice as an older woman is good advice. And it’s really not. (I’m 65 myself so I’m elderly and not a spring chicken myself…just in case anyone thinks I should respect my elders and not question them.) As older women, we have a duty to younger women to offer up advice that’s true and that leads our young women to live their lives SAFE and as HAPPY as they can be. I would LOVE to be wrong and see Simone remain happily married to this guy, but this has “Serious Mess” written all over it. There’s a reason why so many people are hoping she has a good, ironclad pre-nup. We love Simone. She has struggled and worked hard. We want her to be rewarded and happy! ❤
