In 2013, I started my solo travel journey, leaving Indonesia in 2016 to become a full-time traveler and KZbin creator. My background in International Relations has fueled a profound interest in exploring different countries. My content focuses on exploring different cultures through the lens of a solo female traveler, aiming to capture real-life interactions and experiences.

I'm really sorry as a Sri Lankan about those Tuk drivers who became a nuisance. It's a common problem in South Asian countries where poverty is a big problem. Everyone is just trying to make a living. But the way you handled them was really impressive and I think lot of solo female travelers would look and learn from you. Simsa because it doesn’t require any skills or training anyone can be a tuk tuk driver and its not regulated. Hence they can charge what ever they want. I recommend take meter taxi with meter on ( you can ask driver ) this cuts unnecessary over charge... Yes Srilanka need better taxi service than this.

It's okay to sell a service and understandable but he was being a bit pushy too, this was off the camera hence you didn't know. Plenty of things happened behind the scene when you vlog on the street.

These western travellers mainly target Jaffna... Jaffna should be considered as a tourist city...😄😁😆 In all over sri lanka toilets are same because it is a very poor country having lot of natural beauty, historic glory, good climate etc...If you go to the central bus stand Colombo toilet it's same. If you go to a tourist hotel, you can go to a good quality toilets..😃😁 If you are a traveller you have to select the correct place dear.....😆😅😅

You are using the cheapest of cheap..... These buses are government funded cheapest transport method and targeted for the poor people in this developing country which is the world's one of the poorest countries. Toilets are the same. Because the country is so small, usually people do not use these public toilets. If you really want to go to a toilets you have to go to a hotel. That is the usual Sri Lankan's way.... The other thing is, toilets show his the behaviour and the cleanliness of the local population in that area... These Jaffna people are popular for .....🥱🥱. .
