What I love about shopping in Mexico is that there isn’t so many choices which made it quick and easy. Americans have just soooo many items!
@NewstateNomads

That is a great observation, Christine! In the US, I don't think people realize that most everywhere else in the world you can't choose from 12 kinds of peanut butter, for instance. Aldi, Trader Joes, etc are setup like that in the US, and I feel like it makes things quicker and easier to shop. Stores can be a lot smaller, too! Thanks for watching. 👍 -Howard

Loved watching that video of you coming back to the states. Glad you got a rescue dog while in Mexico. We got rescue too. That’s one better way to go to a dog. Glad you a nice time there and with friends too. How are the dogs now with paws being bit and the burrs? And your husband. Glad you found a camp ground too opened up. Especially with full hook ups. Looking forward to seeing next video. See you soon and be safe. Sherri Weber

Thanks, Stewart! Certainly a different country to the one we left 5 months ago, but we are thankful for continued health as we explore the USA. As a VERY social person, it's hard for me not to say "hello" and interact with the neighbors at campgrounds, or restaurants, stores, etc. Also, sadly several experiences we hoped to show in our episodes around the US are closed or greatly scaled back. Definitely an interesting time for all of us. -Howard

Great VLOG and I can't wait for the Mexico Recap VLOG next week. It will be so different not seeing you guys south of the border. Very happy you and the dogs are back safe and sound. You guys have become real pros with the VLOGS.....the city I would LOVE to go to is Guanajuato! Thank You so much for showing us that beautiful place. It was one of you most popular videos you have done so far....for good reason. You will be happy to know that I am warming up to the new NN intro.....I used to fast forward past it in protest. Katelyn....I knew you are coming back with a new dog....but if you compare the new shaggy post quarantine Howard to the professional version of Howard in minute 1:50....it appears you are coming back with a new husband as well. Hard to believe its the same person. It warmed my heart in minute 2:41 to see the flashback of Ol' Blue. Hopefully someone picked them out of the Lost and Found box and is wearing them with pride. Howard....I am sure you are secretly jealous when you think about all the compliments the person gets on a daily basis. It was tough to watch minute 9:33.....I was hoping for a big announcement that you and Eat See RV were going to continue the caravan. I think you guys are really going to miss each other. Good travel partners are hard to find. Maybe you will reconnect in Mexico??

Glad you're warming up to the intro, I try to make it a little different each week to keep it entertaining with different video clips and tweaking the words. SO FUNNY that you fast forward! I really laughed hard when Howard read me this comment last night. And yes! He does look like a totally different man LOL sort of like Tom Hanks in Castaway after he's been on the island! Aww we'll definitely miss Dennis & Liz but I have no doubt there will be a reunion soon! 😉 - Katelyn

Earlfred, it's a hard habit to break! As a citizen of the United States of America (see how weird that sounds even though that is correct?) we are surrounded with cultural elements that identify us as "Americans" and the country simply as "America." Take "America, the beautiful" or Bruce Springsteen reminding us "They're coming to America" or even the Eddie Murphy classic "Coming to America." I would wager that most people in the USA if asked their nationality would declare, "American." It is incorrect, and of course ignores all the OTHER countries that are in North, Central or South America to declare the USA as singularly American. Thanks for watching. -Howard

I knew that the grocery store experience would get ya. Ya'll weren't here when the store shelves were getting pretty bare and folks were having hair pulling fights over TP. 185.00 for the store? That sounds pretty average especially if you stocked up on a few beverages. 🍺🍹🍸🍷🍾
