Hotel Galleria was great as a lower cost hotel with real charm. Our room overlooked the pool area and we had breakfast in the room. Nice service and free breakfast included with my room booking. Only drawback was no elevator!

The walking talking rambiling type videos are good in the sense ...... You effort to communicate and get to know the people in you travel helps you to make a connection with the people in a good way...

I am from USA and use Remitly. They charge about 1.5 pesos per dollar I exchange. So if I send $100 USD they charge about $150 pesos.

Yes the bag touts in Gensan don't ask. They grab your bag like it's part of the service and put their hand out for a tip at the end.

I like your rambling-walking videos, but moreso with the slo-mo/stop-mo of the maganda dalagas.

Walk and talk videos are great nice to see Davao again and Gen San and hear your experiences, you do lose me a bit on the 70s reminiscences, but I appreciate and enjoy your hard work in producing the vlogs

You have been traveling a lot throughout the Philippines, I can say you have a good knowledge of the country now. Therefore, I will need your input for my first visit to the Philippines. I will be landed in Cebu, but I'm not really willing to spend the 29 days in one city. What are your suggestions?
@RealGaryGibson6 күн бұрын
Bohol, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Bacolad, Ormoc. Take buses and ferries. They're cheap and see the countryside!

Philippines is a difficult one. Expensive accommodations, that are not great. Skin tax. Transport not great and price dependent again on colour. Food is ….well, you never hear of a taste of the Philippines. Lot of nice people though. But I rather Thailand a lot more.

He's too much of a cheap Charlie. Comes off as cheap and the girls sense that. He'd rather have pesos than girls.
