i remember when robinson mall and Go hotel 1st opened in Butuan , i went there for 3days and ended up staying 7 days , was so convenient staying there . got to love being able to eat , shop , see a movie and then be back in your room in 5 minutes . Butuan is actually a nice place to visit , stayed there many times over the years and each time had something happen to make it memorable . the craziest thing that happened is i was about to leave on a flight back home to cebu and before we got to board the flight for some reason the flight crew accidentally activated the emergency inflatable slide on one of the rear doors , lmao . the flight was cancelled and had to fly a crew from Manila to fix the plane . its more fun in the philippines !! the last time i was in Butuan they didnt have SM mall built and they didnt have metered taxis yet . Its good to see its growing !

If a hotel is full the previous night, they have a check out time for guests and a check in time for new guests. The time in-between they have to clean the room. I'm sure you'd complain if they let you into a room with dirty towels on the floor and dirty bedding. It's not just rules are rules.

Right on bro! I was just in Butuan a few months back. Wife is from a small town just outside of Butuan. We stayed at the Go Hotel's too. I too have to put on my "patience hat" when in the Philippines. I have to remind myself that it's different there and things are done differently. Enjoy brotha!

I like Butuan too but In the process of moving from Cebu to Cagayan de oro. Enjoy there’s so much more. Really good restaurants and I enjoy golfing and Delmonte Golf Course is a bargain and a really good layout.

13:00 to be honest Tim, Ive only visited PH once, I had a great time, I don't know if you have experienced a jeepney or a tricycle or even a none motorized version called something like tricycad, As fun as they were for the first time ever trying them, you cant beat a good car with air con haha. What's up Tim! Chris from Point Loma, Sunset Cliffs! I know you have surfed here before. Talk about being the only white guy around. Ive been to some cities in China where I didnt see anyone at all of a different race but Chinese for a week at a time. I had a beautiful tall Chinese girlfriend at 5'10" back before covid and stayed with her in a city called Leshan near Chengdu. I saw a foreigner maybe once a month if I was lucky.I ment to email you when I was in the Philippines twice this year for a couple months I brought a couple dozen homade flour tortillas for you and also some corn and was going to try and connect with you and drop them off but I was only in Leyte for a few days. Will definitely email you when I go back after the holidays. I'm happy to see your traveling again and getting back to doing vlogs.😊

Ive stayed there at Go. The smoking area is on the roof. It is not very good for the cost. Internet barely works. There is a better place down the road called hotel oazis. It is the only place i will stay from now on. The sm mall is about the same as Gaisano mall. Robinson's is the best IMO.

Mindanao is very safe. Small area of trouble years ago in sw Mindanao. The north and east sides are very friendly and safe. Go to Chicago, New York or Houston if you want trouble. Here it is beautiful , clean air and friendly people 😊.
