Mark I have especially enjoyed the cultural aspect of this food tour. You have educated me a lot on Lebanese food, and I hope to someday take a trip and follow your foot steps

In Brazil we also have sfiha because of the big lebanese immigration here. Here it's written differently: "esfirra" and you can find it all over the country. But I imagine it's not nearly as good as the original in Lebanon. Ours is the open version with either minced meat, cheese or other toppings. We even have a fast food chain called Habib's, which focus on Middle Eastern cuisine but also serves more general fast food items, like pizza. I wish Mark had eaten sfiha in Brazil as well to tell the difference between the two.
