I shouldn’t let the secret out, but Lebanon is one of the best and most interesting countries in the ME to visit. From the minute I got off the plane in Beirut, I was captivated. The hospitality is incredible. The best part is it’s not overly touristed. Every place feels authentic except Byblos which is very touristy. Loved Beirut, Tripoli, Baalbek, Sidon, and Tyre. Very easy to travel in Lebanon. Language is not a problem. Great video - makes me recall all of the great places I visited and the lovely people I encountered. Merci...

James Stevens Even Byblos is full of Lebanese who came to visit from another parts of Lebanon. Lebanon and Israel are the only 2 countries in Middle East where we see tourists can visit any town without making special touristy areas like what see in Jordan, Morocco and Tunisia as their governments don’t encourage tourists to go to a non touristy areas and mix with the locals.

Robinson Papo restaurants that are geared specifically to eat with your hands have washrooms that are ALWAYS used first when you walk into the vicinity. You wash first and then sit down to eat. This is a common practice with all cultures that eat with their hands. People are hygienic, you know? Lol
