And what about bird vs the Lakers? Mj vs the pacers? Magic vs the celtics? AT least one of lebrons clutches moments is entirely attributable to ray Allen amd if you dive deeper im sure his biggest clutch moments are responsible for other players. Fact of the matter is this: with 10 seconds left on the clock and your down by 1 or 2 lebrone doesn't make the top 100 of guys you'd prefer to put the balls in the hands of before lebron, even the current meaning of clutch is too broad if you ask me, essentially the lady quarter with 5 point differential, no, clutch making the big shots AT THE EXAVT MOMENT they matter, an entire quarter with a 5 point differential can literally be over comorqith 2 or 3 shots and that's tbat, clutch should be game on the line and only 1 or 2 men on the court who's hands ykud give anythinf to out the ball in during that time.

It's three steps even if we count the gather-steps like we do now, but there was no gather-step back then, so he took four steps to make the shot, but the referee didn't call it a traveling, which was heavily criticized by the media at the time.

Finally, despite not being his team's go-to option for most of his career and not playing in the 3-ball era, to this day he remains one of the best 3-point shooters in the playoffs both by career shots made and percentage.

You know what's funny as a "used to be" Lebron James fan, especially when he first came into the NBA, that playoff series against Detroit was epicly nuts! I thought this guy(LBJ) is definitely HIM. He was really getting into a smooth groove as one of the up and coming greats to ever play, however what I truly believe interrupted his "I'm the leader, and I'm not gonna let us lose" mentality was that ONE incident involving his Mom's having sex with his Cleveland teammate. If you notice from that time forward til currently now, Lebron hasn't played another playoff series or finals like he did against Detroit that one year. Now don't get me wrong because he has had great moments, or let's just say he's been great in general because he's a great player with God given physical attributes, however the "killer instinct" he had in him when he played in Cleveland the first time against Detroit died and never resurrected in him again. I can only imagine if that incident never happened in his first tenor with Cleveland, what he would have been ultimately. I don't know, but I do believe it would have been scary, I mean really scary, to the point he would have had a "legitimate" argument to be the undisputed greatest of all time. God bless!

I feel the exact same way. I wanted to find out how great he could become if he stuck it out and kept climbing that mountain. Thats why MJ became so tough because of failing early on. If MJ ran away from the Bulls to be on a super team then he would've gotten soft too

When he faced OKC in the 2012 finals he really should have swept that team

Agreed. OKC had no business competing with the Big 3 in their primes.

I feel like this video fails to put clutch into context. Why is LeBron leading in shots/points with less than 5 minutes left. Is that because his team repeatedly scraped by or because he carried the 4th, there’s no explanation. A team or player having the highest clutch stats could easily be because they never close out games until the 4th. But like so many other statlines with LeBron stans it’s all about the sum total, not the actual performance.

Absolutely I put the ball in LeBron's hands with 2 seconds left on the clock. I challenge anybody to find a better bricklayer in that situation.
@editorodriguez65545 күн бұрын
With two seconds left on the clock, I will never put the ball on LeBron James hands he fears the big moment and that’s why he always passes the ball Jordan,Reggie Miller, Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, Dwyane Wade, Seth Curry those are the players that I would definitely want to take the last shot with two seconds left on the clock because I would have an 80/20% chance of winning the game
@TheRealMindCrime5 күн бұрын
We definitely agree on that. Funny that even his coaches don't draw up the last play for him

This video just showed me that if you like Lebron, then you want him taking those clutch shots. And life experience has shown me that if you don't like Lebron: you want him taking those clutch shots. I really didn't see that coming.

Lebron has never been known being clutch. His best season being clutch is 2018. And when lebron went to the finals he was having an amazing game 1 vs warriors and than he didnt want to shoot the last shot having a hot hand which cost the cavs the game. Lebron today shoots around 18 % in the clutch with over 100 shot attempts. Dude is not clutch. Just becsuse u hit a couple of buzzer beaters or tie a game doesnt mean your clutch.
@TheRealMindCrime5 күн бұрын
I agree. I've watched his whole career and he's the opposite of clutch.
@leonardjackson62105 күн бұрын
Didn't ESPN post something at the start of this season talking about Lebrons clutch numbers and it was terrible. Last time I looked he was like 19 for 100+ at around 17 percent in the clutch what is this guy even talking about.
@johnsepulvedacruz64285 күн бұрын
@@leonardjackson6210 exactly. At the beggining it was just 3 % . But if you do research his FG% is terrible.
@leonardjackson62105 күн бұрын
@johnsepulvedacruz6428 I just did for someone hating on TRMC in the comments for his career which they love so much because of totals he is 19 for 107 at 17.8 % and 12.5% from 3
@Omw-yc6ec1gu7sКүн бұрын
The Warriors were banged up especially Steph and Andre for those moments but LeBron didn't even try to guard Steph who was still not confident that his ankle was fully healed from his first round injury. They don't mention what happened in game 4 with Draymond and LeBron both deserving technical foul for their antics. Draymond getting unreasonable punishment and Bogut getting injured in game 5 and missing the last 2 games of the series. Adam Silver is the real reason for LeBron accomplishments from his debut to now.
@Omw-yc6ec1gu7sКүн бұрын
After Kyrie got injured in 2018 before the playoffs the Celtics were not expected to do much in the playoffs without him. Tatum and Brown played better than expected from rookie players as did Rosier who was Irving's back up during the season. Kyrie gave great support from the bench and they won all their home playoff games but lost game 7 of the ECF to the Cleveland Cavs and LeBron because Kyrie had surgery that day and was in the hospital when the game was on and his younger talented teammates choked the game away along with the series.

You notice how they always coddle and make excuses for Lebron. “Oh they were the best defense” “Oh he had no chance they were too good”. No other superstar gets that. People bring up 04 Kobe in the finals and no one says that was like the greatest defensive team of all time. Lol they treat him like a baby 😂

The NBA says clutch time is when the game has 5 minutes left or OT and the score is within 5 points. It's funny how he didn't mention that part
@NEOQEAVCS25 күн бұрын
I do think the community overrates LeBron's "not clutch" thing but he's not close to the clutchest players of all time. About performances he is generally doing decent, but specific moments, just that block where JR Smith bailed him. Before 2012, he only had the 2007 game 5 vs the Pistons LeBron vs 2008 Celtics: 23% cfg Jordan vs THE 1986 Celtics:🔥🔥🔥🔥 Edit: if James was more clutch than Bryant in 2010, I'm a Water pump shadow 600
@fullmetal17665 күн бұрын
11:22 you hit the nail on the head thats when his "downfall" came his true arrogance thinking it was all about him because he beat two 42 win teams and that new pistons team which in that same series he's had some pretty bad games but the cavs stepped up
@TheRealMindCrime5 күн бұрын
I'm glad you get it. He's all about himself and not the team

One thing to remember about all this volume is that once Lebron went back to Cleveland in 2014-15, he insisted on having the ball in his hands at all times. Compare that to MJ or Kobe, who made quick decisions to take advantage of their opportunities. I guess this does prove James is better than Harden at being “the system” 😆
@jhoonate17095 күн бұрын
Ok if this true as if we all NBA fans really believe this is faking true ... So why he has less ring with Kobe? Or why he has less rings with mj? Oh bcoz he has no help? Being the best of the best should have rings more than the other player who played the game. If so why he can't even WIN 3x ok in a row to defend his success? Why? You know why he sux! This vid is fake news!

We are opposite of last year so far. We struggle in the opening then come in clutch at the end. Much better than last year where we were the worst 4th quarter team in the league. I hope we can fix those rough starts and play solid for 4 quarters.

Who tf made this??? The 07 cavs were bad compared to MOST finals teams. But... AI's sixers existed... By far the worst team? They had Z an all star. Hughes a very good defender and albeit, inefficient, an ok scorer. Let's not forget Donyell hitting what 7 3s in one game? A then record i believe... And booby gibson put up like 35 or something to get them to advance one of those rounds. I think this is a minute ago ... But still... To say LeBron wasn't at fault at all is CRAZY. That man put up disgusting numbers. And i actually rewatched those finals. Cuz i didnt as a kid. Nothing else to say. He played TERRIBLE. We just all forgave him becuz the spurs were stacked. And lebron had less talent/big names. Doesnt matter. He avg'd 6turnovers and shot like 35%.... That's insanely bad...
@tawithmmk48005 күн бұрын
Yeah and look and Jordan’s numbers against the Celtics when he was young. Or any team he was basically solo against before he made a deep playoff run. Yes he didn’t get as far. But those teams were historically great and he just happened to draw them in round 1/2 instead of the finals. Doesn’t matter. He balled out. Lebron melted.
