You misunderstood what he was saying. He wasn't stating that Lebron doesn't have any help, which why I felt Broussard was lost. He was saying that the NBA as a whole has so much talent in it that on any night, it could be anybody's night. Think about it, the bottom 5 teams in the West that are in playoff contention has Steph, Klay Thompson, Draymond, KD, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, De'Aaron Fox, Malik Monk, Domantas Sabonis, Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson, and CJ Mccollum. They were all stars at some point in their career. That's 3 all stars per team. One team can't dominate just because the rest of the league is trash. There are a lot of good teams, some with better chances than others.

Agree with Broussard. I don't see the Laker's roster as worse than Mavs, Golden State, OKC, Kings, or even the Suns if you remove the top 2 players in each of these teams. To me, the critical factor is bad coaching by Ham. His matchup and substitutions are horrible. He's one of the worst in-game adjustment coaches. There's even video of him sounding clueless in the huddle and essentially the players coaching themselves.
