I survived a home invasion in my apartment 5 years ago where i wqs r**ed and robbed at gunpoint by 3 gang members with my daughter sleep in the next room. After they turned themselves in ( which the detective said has NEVER happened in his entire career in a case like this) they admitted that they didn't know me, it was random and it was an initiation thing. They were supposed to kill me. But God and his angels were with me because tht couldn't even explain what made them just run out. That night changed my life forever. It really made me appreciate lofe and drew me closer to God and even though it has not been easy to forgive and move forward, i had to. Now i am back working (7 mos.) at a job i love, i am at peace, my children are great. I am truly blessed. ✨🙏🏽💜

My story isn’t nearly as “exciting and captivating” as yours but it’s what God chose to use nonetheless. When I was young I didn’t like to do… well, anything pretty much. I wanted to stay at home where it was safe and hang with my parents (they hadn’t adopted my lil bro yet). But my parents decided that I WAS going to VBS one year… and they made it fun, they came along and served so I wouldn’t be nervous alone in our huge church by myself. I ended up convicted by one of the songs I heard, God totally caught me and reeled me in and I went to my parents asking about it and trusted Christ on the spot. Never underestimate the “small” things people, God can and will use anything. Yes it IS worth it to have conversations with your kids and take them to church and VBS!

Hey Crae I went to a men’s home called victory outreach in kcmo and was there 1 year . A guy there turned me on to after the music stops. It literally transformed and changed me. I had no idea Christian rap could be so good! I was in mylate 20’s and now on my 40’s and I’m still riding with my top down listening to this Jesus music! 😊 thank you so much for just being you

@@boatsandhoes311fax bro, After the Music Stops was my first encounter with Crae. Showed me the true potential of Christian rap. Actually Anomaly prob my fav album till his most recent ones. But up till I heard that, the last OG Christian rap I knew was DC Talk who had some great beats but they style was def outdated 😉 Crae is the OG Christian street rap

Incredible message brother. Listening to this as 2023 is ending. My family both near & far & extended members were going through a lot that it weighted a lot on me overall & going through 2 family deaths. It was hard to be vulnerable & ask for prayer for myself & seeing family members suffering in front of me. I’m not one to ask prayer for myself a lot when I pray & ask prayer for others. It was hard to believe if God was really moving when at times it got worse & having doubt if he was still moving in my life when I didn’t see where I wanted to be & things were looking like it would later than sooner. I know I needed to check myself & talk to some people I trusted. I’m glad to share it with close family, friends, & church family for it really helped a lot that I felt the weight lifted off my spirit & body. I know there are people praying for me & my family maybe even strangers that are doing so too. Just as I pray for God to love & speak to others here in the US or around the world, I’m glad my God still moves & for him still being with me through it all. I’m glad that my understanding of who God is is growing, I had some challenges that helped me lean on to Him & see him as Provider, Physical healer, etc. The Lord bless you always & your ministry my brother Lecrae

Killing one another been here before rap music .Rap music is a confession of the war within us and in this world Rap music has an influence yes. But strictly blaming Rap music for the murders its more to it than that. The root of rap music is people speaking on what's being seen what's being done in the neighborhoods . Yes to a degree it makes killing drugging and being a hoe look Koo but what he said is that he had positive people speaking life into him we need more of that than keeping the nonsense going on .So yes God I hope u can hear our ghetto cry's 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 OUR STREETS NEED YOU OUR CHILDREN NEED U
