Man, I get the need for it--but especially with this song there's an entire journey from start to finish (complete with ebbs and flows, ups and downs, and intensity of volume) and it is composed almost like classical piece. Larry Pincus I saw them twice in Chicago. I love watching this guys reaction to them. When he said it was trippy I thought yeah a lot of times back then we were trippy while we were listening to them. I know I was trippy at their concerts both times. Ahh, the good old days where the "crickets would be chirping in your ears" for days afterward. Around where I came from, we called it that even though it was just a high pitched "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE". Black Sabbath, Led Zep, Jethro Tull ... Blue Oyster Cult coming in '72 (after their name changed). I can't remember the year - BOC turned their concert volume down because 7 hearing people came out of one of their concerts legally deaf. Most bands turned the volume down as well after that.

I was at a party with a friend tripping , Led Zeppelin was on the stereo, we both experienced the vaulted ceiling invert, it had to be the music. The thing about Zeppelin, they were all geniuses in their craft! Zeppelin is by far, the most influential rock band of the 60’s and 70’s. Their live performances were not up to the standard that they delivered on studio albums. Apart from that they do have many redeeming qualities to what they contributed to the musical spectrum. I was lucky enough to rock my young brains out to this first Zeppelin album. I think the year was 69, and I jammed with an 8-track player in my Aunts future husbands 65 GTO. The birth of Heavy Metal IMHO, and listening to it in a true piece of original Muscle Car. Life was so good.

Great Job! The pauses are needed. I can speak for a lot of us here - We fully understand. I really appreciate you going back 10 seconds to rebuild the broken flow from the pauses. I actually hate when reactors will pause and just restart from where they paused. By going back 10 seconds, you are showing us all how much you appreciate what you are hearing. I personally love seeing the younger generation discovering and enjoying the music I grew up with. The late 60's and early 70's were filled with experimental bands all wanting to create their own sound. Sadly, much of this has been lost and buried into obscurity over time, but some of the more popular bands from back then are still known today. Fortunately, Led Zeppelin carried over. It was not only one of the more popular bands still known today, it was also one of the best. Keep on Rockin' !
