Every song is amazing! They only played it live once that I've seen. Bonham actually played with 2 sticks in each hand!

Yes I’ve said I heard live once, & someone said like 3 times, I haven’t found proof of that. Unfortunately the one live time there’s no visual, I’d have love shots of Bonham playing this.

Bonham had some trouble with this song, the timing & using the 4 sticks. He got frustrated trying to get it down, so he took a break from it. He would warm up playing a drum beat from Little Richard, Keep A Knocking. He started pounding that out, & the band joined in, in about 20 minutes they wrote & recorded Rock & Roll. Bonham went back to Four Sticks, & got it down in one or two takes. Only played live once, with no visual, I’d have loved seeing some shots of him playing this. Request: Check out the band Sleep Token…. They are the “New Tool” and folks are saying they are “Sexy Metal”. They mix genres with metal, R &B, jazz and pop. I think you’ll love them.

@@helenespaulding7562 Chokehold, Ascensionism, Take Me Back To Eden, Granite and Alkaline are my favorites…. Not in that order. The Summoning and Vore are great but heavy. The more you listen the more you get hooked. Pretty much the whole album “Take Me Back to Eden” is just phenomenal and diverse. Aqua Regia on the album is kinda jazzy with beautiful piano. Vessel is an amazing pianist and composer.

@@laurelpaguio8658 listened to Eden. Lots of talent there. The first part had shades of Marillion to me. Then the heavy metal kicked in I liked it until it went into a hiphop sequence. I think perhaps I’ve just made too many trips around the sun….too old to dig them. What a mash-up of styles! I can see many people loving this band. Maybe those under 50. But…I FO love Tool. So go figure.

@@helenespaulding7562 I turn 55 very soon so age is just a number!! 😉. I love Tool but not all of their songs are great. But there’s about Sleep Token for me, the more I listen the more I love the song even if I didn’t like it at first. It’s strange… I cannot explain why. You don’t have to explain personal taste, in fact my daughter is not a fan…. She doesn’t like the singer’s voice.
