Loving it man! Keep them coming. I'm super bummed that the YT police wouldn't let Since I've Been Loving You through, but glad you got a chance to check it out. No drums on the studio version. This was pretty faithful to the studio version actually.

not double acoustic guitars.......guitar and mandolin. What you could not possibly know, because you weren't there, but that acoustic guitar and mandolin, with that melody, PERFECTLY captured the vibe of the laid-back, dreamy, folk/counter culture/hippie music of that time. If you'd been there then, you would have heard that kind of sound allot. By the way, you said you "researched it" but I don't know how deeply.. It is always mentioned, when looking up this song, that many of the lyrics refer to Joni Mitchell, a hugely successful singer/songwriter who was part of the Laurel Canyon scene at that time. Robert had a pretty big crush from afar on Joni at the time.

Great reaction!!! I personally love the hard heavy stuff but love the mellow acoustic songs too. If you loved the Rain Song and this one, you should react to “That’s the Way” live from the same Earl’s Court concert. It’s phenomenal…..keep’em coming!!!

The studio version is similar in tone, tempo, and absent drums, but they are different creatures. Live versions of Zep songs might as well be different songs altogether, because every performance is an experience and each one is different. You've got a lot of exploring to do, young man. Enjoy.

It’s nice to see you in the comments again, thank you for all the support on the channel and in the comments:) but I totally agree! I’m not sure a better word for it than a trance, and that’s great that they also use that to describe themselves! That’s the beautiful thing about music, you can get lost in it and escape the world for just a little bit! It was a great song, and I’m thankful that you enjoyed the video! I’ll see you on the next one✊🏼
