I meant everything I said about their performance. There are some who will say it's an imitation of the real Zeppelin without John B but how much more genuine can you get when the extremely talented son of the master is sitting behind the drum kit. I just loved seeing this on Blur-ray and equally thrilled to hear it on vinyl. Thanks again for your kind words Rob!

Thanks Lj. It's amazing how this rather middle of the road RtR just kicks ass in terms of sound quality to any cassette deck I've ever owned. So far, having a great time with it. Thanks for watching and your great comments!

I only have Led Zeppelin on CD's but one day I walked into a thrift shop and there was a Led Zeppelin 45 Living Lovin Maid, B/W Whole Lotta Love with no jacket, just sitting there without flaws, not a scratch or smudge, one of the nicest Atlantic labels I have seen on a 45 rpm record in a very long time. the record was beautiful. .45 Cents. I took it home gave a few plays on the old Console, found a nice white plain record sleeve for it and my sister stole that record. ; ) GGGRRRRRR!!!!!!! Best record I ever found at a thrift store.

+jerickzane That is a nice find, especially in good condition. Your sister has good taste as well lol!

2/2 I am really happy that you are enjoying the record. To hear you say that they still sound as good as they did in the seventies was a huge compliment. I always forget that there was a 34 year span in the middle of not being together for a whole show. It had been a long time, been a long time! Beautiful reel 2 reel. I am just learning about the different speeds on them now. The reason why I never used a home one was because I liked changing records, etc. But that looks outstanding~ Rob/Boston

Nice Akai Mark. I rescued my Dad's old Akai 4000D from the loft a few months ago, cleaned it up, and I am now really enjoying using it, he loved his music as much as me, and ihe would be pleased I am using it it.

Thanks Rob! Lisa got me the shirt for Christmas. Don't know why I thought TSRTS was done in '75 but thanks for the correct info. I know you'll get your own copy of this. Rob Paneeks, who has more zep than anyone I know without a vinyl copy of Celebration Day, I DON'T THINK SO!!

I agree with you 100% Mark. It would really not sit right with me if they passed on Jason and got someone else to sit on that stool. I have watched Jason since seeing them play live with him in 1988 at Madison Square Garden when he was just 21 years old. I have watched him get better and better. To be able to stay in time with Jonesy you have get to be a professional plus drummer. Bonzo Sr never missed a beat live and took his playing seriously. I still wonder what if he was still alive? Rob

Hi Mark. Yes, I had to order one as there is no place in this neck of the woods that has them or anything to do with RtR for that matter. The Deck came with 4 10" metal reals including the original Akai take up reel but no 7" ones. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the gesture Mark, much appreciated. Should be O.K now though.

The shirt looks fantastic on you. So far Vance {zeppearl} and Chris {fitzzy72} have shown the box. I think they did a great job with it because they printed it the same way as they did Mothership and Song Remains The Same. The Song was recorded in 1973 actually Mark. It was released in 1976 so you are probably thinking about that. TSRTS's audio was taking from Baltimore 7/23, Pittsburgh 7/24 and three nights at MSG/NY on 7/27, 28 + 29th all from the 1973 tour which was my all time fave~ 1/2 Rob

Another Celebration Day review and I still do not own a copy of the vinyl. But will I eventually? I don't know? I thought the show was amazing on the big screen Mark. I will be back to check out your review and also to see the new addition you have in your music room. See you in an hour or so~ Rob/Boston

I just looked up your model on a youtube vid. Very cool looking machine. I found mine to be mfd in 1977. I'm guessing yours must be from the late 60's. Am I close? I just love vintage gear from that period. Thanks for watching!

OK, I have a bunch of 7" home recorded tapes and I would have sent you one to use as a take up reel. plastic not metal though. cheers and have fun

Not one for posting vids Mark. LOL. Hey have you ever seen a Beatles Help album that has the Shell logo on the background and then it's on green vinyl? I've heard about those floating around but never saw one in person.

To be honest, I'm not sure how old it is, but I think you are pretty close.

the reason it was put back a couple times ? i would say because there a loads of bad batches of this box set ..with badly warped vinyl.. close to unplayable i am now having my box set change for the third time ..this 180g marketing no sense is a waste of time.. the 180g vinyl is more prone to warping Not happy ...big time

Hey sorry to hear about the bad luck you've had with this release. Guess I was lucky not to have any issue. thanks for watching and your input.
