The greatest band...so much emotion and passion in their delivery both vocally and musically. Welcome to the most diverse deep rabbit hole of Led Zep. Try Dazed and Confused or whole Lotta love

They were a superb live band and would play for three hours,with no support acts. They also believed in improvisation so that each performance would be different.

Check out Stairway to Heaven from MSG '73... your life might never be the same! Jimmy Page - Lead Guitar, Robert Plant - Lead Vocals and Harmonica, John Paul Jones - Bass, Synth/Keys, Mandolin (Jimmy also plays Mandolin on some tracks), and the Greatest Drummer in History (in any genre), John Henry Bonham (RIP).Before that, maybe check out the "Immigrant Song" - this one you've definitely heard in passing, also probably the riff from "Kashmir"... "whole Lotta Love Live, Dazed and Confused Live, Ramble On, When the Levee BreaksThe Lemond Song"... and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

The two shows recorded in NYC were some of the high points in the Golden Age of rock&roll. We're lucky to have it.

Saw in 75 and 77. Experiences in my life I will never forget. When I see this videos it makes me go back. They did not play this song in 75 but they have so many that are as good you don't notice. It's amazing too that I can hear now both shows on YT. Not very good quality but I never thought I'd hear that again. Great reaction!

Lucky you! I saw Page but when he was with The Firm which sucked lol! And Robert Plant with The Honeydrippers which was cute but not anything compared to Zeppelin.

Play, When the Levee Breaks! Led loved Muddy Waters and the Blues from the Deep South of Black America! 🔥What they mastered was truly phenomenal! Rock, Blues and Soul.

Right on. Led Zeppelin is endlessly entertaining with music that affects you emotionally as well as intellectually. That performance was taped in 1973 - 50 years ago!

Plant and Joplin were tight when Zeppelin was starting out. He says she would look after him, give him advice on how to handle the life....advice she herself wasn't able to take for long...

He was working from 7 to 11 every night, then he gets home and sees his back door slam, there was a man at his house while he was at work and he left through the back door, his sweetheart was cheating on him with another Man, hence, Since I’ve been loving you , he’s been crying tears falling like rain!

Yes, I've always thought that Robert Plant's voice sounded like Janice Joplin at times.
@julienmarquet8612 Жыл бұрын
Absolutely not, just because in 1973 Robert's abuses lead him to be operated😂So he sometimes sounded like the shit pan's voice of Janis😂😂😂😂😂But, seriously, how dare you compare the fantastic voice Robert's got between 1968 and 1973, to the shit voice Janis always got😂😂😂😂😂
