A couple things. 1. This tent is a knock-off of the Kelty Gunnision. (Which is a great tent) 2. You should do the clips after the poles are up and connected to the corners. It is better for the tent.

Hey. I'm pretty sure this is the tent i'm going to get ( great review btw ) is that an Osprey kestrel your using in the video? if so what size is that one ? ( just trying to get a grip on pack weights and size including the tent etc. CHEERS!

I wouldn't worry. I had my dog w me and we hit a thunder storm and my dog went a little nuts and no damage to floor. Want me to list mine on eBay?

Did you do any extra seam sealing beyond the factory taping?

The one I bought in 2013 (in red, not green) had no vinyl windows either (not a big loss IMO).

Thanks for the helpful review! Quick question, does it have a footprint or a tarp that you lay the tent on top of? I know some REI tents have something like that and I was wondering how useful you thought it is. Cheers, Alex

I used this tent several times in 2013 and I just used a 6'x8' tarp I had laying around. It'll be pretty close to what you want. Ledge doesn't sell an official footprint for it that I know of.
