Now that you know how to make them, how do you plan to use these killer halftone patterns?
@HalfAssHomestead3 жыл бұрын
I use Affinity Designer, which the command keys are probably different but the end result is the same. I just went with the $40 version rather than a lifetime subscription.
@fate20223 жыл бұрын
@@HalfAssHomestead I'd like to use it as a pattern but how do I get rid of the sold white background portion, I guess the artboard part? I just need the actual dot pattern only. When I rasterize, then do a trace and save i'm still getting an outline of the sold white artboard area. Thanks, great tutorial btw.

This just made my day! I had made a vertical gradient with a repeat/stacked custom font using the opacity slider making each consecutive one progressively more transparent than the one below it ... but needed it to be halftone for screen printing. The effect - pixelate - color halftone option wasn't really doing what I needed it to do or it just messed up the lines and not much else... but I think since I made the gradient manually this could be a better option to make a custom halftone and clipping mask. Going to try it out right now! Thanks & Big UPS!
