That's cool, I didn't know less reps focus more on power than muscle
@airgoattotle11 ай бұрын
Less reps is more strength building like 3-8.9-15 is muscle, then 20+ is endurance.
@Szymeksys9 ай бұрын
Less reps, lower weight (rapid, explosive reps)= power Low reps, very high weight= strength 6-12 reps= best for building muscle 30+ reps= endurance

it depends on how fast you do them! you will usually see sprinters do very fast squats without going really low. it's so interesting

I know some people would use the same method of basketball for volleyball , but i do need a good type of workout/routine to jump higher in playing volleyball

It isn't any different than basketball. THE Vince Carter was a volleyball legend in high school btw. Look up highlights of his games. Maybe incorporate medicine ball slams and dumbbell snatches for power on a serve.

For people who are gonna try this workout routine, get ready to have weak legs for days. I'm not saying that you shouldn't try. Just do it with less intensity

just until your muscles feel comfortable, if you train whilst they still feel sore, your muscle strength will decrease overtime
