@@thesanfranciscoseahorse473 I doubt you actually wanted a reply, but I'm feeling generous so here is one anyway. I do not support "spitting on soldiers". I don't support spitting on anyone. And I do not know anyone, of any political persuasion, who does. Not sure where you're getting that one. Do I "support" flag burning? Inasmuch as I support any other lawful expression of someone's first amendment rights. I wouldn't personally do it, but it has been classified as protected speech, and so I wouldn't support legal action against someone who did it, because ultimately that action against them would be declared a violation of their rights. Further, I don't think the two are comparable. My statement was specifically about the use of the confederate flag in the United States capitol by people calling themselves American patriots. The confederate flag is literally the flag of traitors to America. That's what they were, that's why they created a flag. Because they didn't want to be part of America anymore and needed a flag for their new "country". Flying the flag of a traitor while calling yourself a patriot is such a specific example of hypocrisy that it is mind boggling how anyone could've thought to do it. It is inherently contradictory. You can not fly the flag of enemies of the country you are claiming to support. It doesn't even make sense.
@thesanfranciscoseahorse473
@thesanfranciscoseahorse473 3 жыл бұрын
@@thornlings They certainly don't see themselves as traitors. I don't think they should have been waving that flag around either, but I'm sure if you asked them they wouldn't see it the way you've described. Most of the people I've met who use that flag see it as a symbol of independence. Naive? Ya probably. But they see themselves as resisting a government they think is going against the will of the people. These people genuinely believe the election went to Trump and that the Left is cheating them out of a victory by undermining our democracy. Exactly the same accusation the Left throws at them. They are sitting on two sides of the same street seeing each other as doing the exact same thing. I blame the media for not having these people sit down and explain their views clearly. Instead, its all name-calling and "traitor" accusations. These people might have been foolish, trespassers, vandalizers. But traitors? Worthy of execution? If thats true then we need to see the same logic applied to BLM rioters who burned down a federal court house and several police stations while burning American flags and chanting slurs against the nation.

Especially considering a growing pile of evidence that his interests are NOT that of national defense or security, the one claim he had going for him. He incited a riot against a US government building, and did nothing to stop it. That alone should immediately disbar him from office. And then there’s the fact that he stole hundreds of classified documents. Why does he need those? Honestly ask yourself how that can possibly benefit our country. There is no legitimate reason. The most likely scenario is that he saw value in them, and wanted to hold onto as much information as possible for future leverage. No, he did not go through the process to declassify any of them. Well, Nero was most likely not responsible for the fire, it's probably just another twisting of history by the winners: Christians. Fires can always occur, most likely it was just by accident. Here's some wise words from Samwise Gamgee in this troubling time: “It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn’t. They kept going, because they were holding on to something. That there is some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for.”

You can apply for social security at any age but most people I know have parents who applied for it as a baby. Its exactly as described where you pay taxes into the social security and have access to it at 65. There's also Medicade and Medicare which are government sponsored healthcare for the elderly. 401k is an additional retirement program that a portion of your paycheck goes into and you can access it after you retire even if you lose your job or leave it early. But you're only supposed to use it for retirement. My mom still has her 401k despite quitting her job when she had kids. It still acquires interest.

For those of us who never strayed from the path of sanity, refusing to get lost in Trump's wilderness of lies, the inevitability of this day was never in doubt. OH GOD! With ABSOLUTE RESPECT, I truly loved when you said "with absolutely zero respect", and everything after that! Man, you went berzerk on them, and double deservedly so! YT already managed to jump to next video, as I was too slow to pause the playback,, but I had to come and write a second comment. - although I might have already participated the conversation 2 years ago and forgotten it (unlikely, but possible, since I can't recall seeing this and it was on my "Watch Later" list - and I'm not "2 years behind", I watch them in order most of time, but sometimes skip to a completely different part of the list, so it's hard to say how "behind" I am, but I also add videos from recommendations irrelevant of how old they are), I do feel like I only just saw this 1st time and commented first at the quite beginning, then after watching it through. Definitely one that I'll save on my "Best Trump Related" (I did have a temptation to create "LegalEagle on Trump" list, but then.... I do hope you have such list under this channell for easy browsing of your vids on him specifically ;) I'm also so sure that there's a bazillion of comments calling you biased. Not like biased even itself means that one can't look at things from a neutral view point. But there's nothing neutral here - the only real way to be highly biased on what happened is to disagree with what you said! I salute you!

Sir, as long as people like you defend the law and democracy with such a strong voice and enthusiasm, faith from European friends into the US and its institutions will prevail and be restored. I have to admit that I am not always lucky with the US politics and politicians (that's natural as we live in different countries and have partly different interests), but I always wish the people of your country all the best. About 75 years ago, the US sacrificed the lives of thousands of its fathers, sons, brothers and friends in order to free my home country from a dictatorship we brought into power (that, by the way, originally took its path via legal elections where the party that should destroy Europe not even won the absolute majority of the votes) by ourselves, helped to rebuild our economy via the Marshal Plan, fed our parents and via CARE parcels and helped us to build a democracy that is the base for our prosperity until now. I am sure, the pragmatic way for which I admire the US citizens I worked with, will help you to overcome this times and strengthen your institutions and life belts. Greetings from Austria and also thanks for explaining US law in a way, so that even foreigners like me can understand it.

You can see the passion in this mans eyes, he looks like he's on the verge of tears in every shot. Someone who ACTUALLY loves their country.
