Just like y’all said, they stayed true to the essence of DragonBall while also bringing something fresh and new with some PHENOMENAL ANIMATION! Definitely wanna see more from these guys! This fan animation left me speechless. They captured so much of the essence the anime. They added their own story and twists, while also dropping some references from the actual anime. Everyone that was involved in this production, they did an amazing job. There's so many superlatives to describe this. Definitely checking out more of their work. This was amazing. After watching this so many times I just noticed Brolys scars slowly change color throughout the fight with Vegeta and Goku and I think that light change might indicate how much time he had left or how hurt he was, the detail in this animation is freaking amazing

Funny thing about DBE. It would have made a great movie but they made it about Goku, rather than the less popular (at the time) but more relatable Gohan. Then whole story and setting makes more sense with Gohan in place of Goku, Videl in place of Chi Chi and a different villain.
