CTWC Legend Tournament was a 12-person bracket featuring players who participated in CTWC before 2019 and all players used the DAS playstyle in this event.

At the 2023 CTWC, over 100 Classic Tetris pros gathered at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo to vie for 48 seeds. Qualifying consisted of 2 hour attempts where players would try to rack up as many great scores as possible. In a 48-seed bracket, the Top 16 seeds earn a bye out of Round 0, while the bottom 32-seeds compete for a spot in Round 1.

Before anyone says anything, I'm aware that this finals was extremely lackluster, and I as the player am pretty darn embarrassed with my performance. Despite my craptastic showing in this match, I had an awesome time with these guys. This was also my first finals in a CTWC setting. I just wish we have had more time to do a best 3 out of 5 like it was originally supposed to be. Anyway, that's all. Enjoy and apologies.

Wait, I just thought of a great challenge especially for the pros. How many times within a game can you make the board clompletely clear of blocks? The player who manages to do that the most wins. I think I’ll try that challenge myself😮
