I really enjoy these man. I don't comment typically but just want you to say thank you. I love the old west and all the stories. One thing is clear. There were so many opportunities in our history where decent people tried to do the right thing but nobody would listen. Inaction led to a downfall of a people more than once. Hindsight is always 20/20 but the fact remains that if you see someone as less than human, you will not go to the absolute limits to help them. Seemed Carsen himself tried the best he knew how. Anyway, thank you for the great content!

It's sad the US government representatives wouldn't listen to Kit and the Indians concerning the many issues facing natives and settlers. Their issues were sincere and would have gone a long way toward resolving.

Thank you very much for this presentation. I'm a black powder shooter and gun builder and have attended many, many Rendezvous. It just so happens that I am the exact same height and weight of Kit! Some of my childhood friends were Native Americans and I have a deep respect for their culture and history. And, I have a deep sorrow for how we whites treated them and appropriated their homeland. Time heals many wounds and we live together in peace now. That doesn't make it right.

Why put it here when you didn’t even bother to add photos or anything. You gotta step it up. There are way better KZbinrs putting your work to shame . Anyone can read something but to put in in a great story for and edit a video is hard

what about Carson city and the Carson pass? why wasn't that in this story? I travel from Cali to Fallon Nv. and I always us the 88 that goes through, Carson pass...
