Actually back in MoP it was a common troll move for priests to leap of faith a dps member next to them as the floor was going away when they were standing right on the edge so the dps would fall in the hole. That and the leap of faith some one in front of the snails in Throne of Thunder. Thank god for neuro silencers now.

BEST Healer overview I have seen EVAR!... Do you think Holy Priest will be viable for end game progression? I've been playing a resto shaman lately and really enjoying its diverse tool kit, i feel like i can make a big difference in the raid apart from just healing, plus when i pop some of my big cooldowns and place my healing totem down, i crush the healing meters, all of those green numbers are a blissful sight to behold xD

Seriously sick of WoW being unable to fking balance healing in every fking expansion. Why can't the number add up? Its simple, make AoE healing a FIXED number and whoever stands in it gets a % of that. Wtf is with this dps to heal bullshit? Either heal or Dps instead of failing at both. I mean is it that difficult to understand that healers rolled a healer to fking heal, if I wanted to dps I'd roll a dps, how fundamentally simple is that to understand??? Disc priest's concept in Cataclysm was bloody perfect, if we compared it to Guildwars, the Disc priest is the prot monk which makes sense, you have X healer healing large single targets, Y healer AoE healing the raid but without this infinite amount of healing if everyone stands in a fking circle ridiculous bullshit and you have the protection healer that mitigates and reduces damage taken. How perfect of a template is that?! Now we have this DPS healer thats doing healing, dps and dmg mitigation at the sametime whilst being shit at all 3 of them, then we have the holy priest who cant out heal druid or resto shaman for even though its the healer class that signifies what a healer is and has the tool kits of the most standard healer. We have this fking druid drawing circles on the floor for people to stand on that provides infinite fking healing depending on how many players stand in it and a resto shaman who have these op as wards + better heals than the standard bread and butter holy priest healer what the fk...

It just feels so simple now and I no longer like to play it, which is a pain because my monk has been my main since MoP. I was a holy priest main in WoD and I'm disappointed how they dumbed it down. I used to actively cast like 16 spells which now became like 8. Holy had a spell for every situation: low-mid-high preventive spell, 5man aoe, single target and a (terrible) raidwide. I was using chakras all the way in changing situations to adapt. Now it has a fixed rotation you can't escape: you need to spam unnecessary and inefficient healing spells to decrease cd of the real spells. Like 10 second before a tank spike you cast flash heals on uninjured members to be able to heal the tank properly. Holy became the ultimate overheal spec, wasting resources everywhere. And the numbers are so low now the raid goes down you can't do anything about it just spam until 0 mana and grief on how everyone still died.

From what I heard about it atm (look also at TB's play through/review) You'll be lucky if you last a day playing NMS :D and that's just sad for a game that is basically Starbound 3D, I suggest buying it next year till then the Devs might fix it or the mothers will.

I seriously can't grasp how every. fucking. time. druids are not only viable, but partially even outclassing others who can't do all 4 roles in the game. Imo, Blizz should put Shamans and Priest on top, then Paladin and Monk and at last should be Druid. It just seems unfair to me. I don't talk about making them not viable, but the more roles you can fulfil, you should be a few percents below others. Even that is something that would still be kind of unfair, but I don't want to have it be ruined for people who really enjoy playing druid. But come on, why the fuck do I even roll something else than a druid? Why should you invite a pure dps spec into your PuG raid, if a druid can do almost the same and switch to heal and tank to his liking (which occurs very often, tank or heal leaving and you just want to continue on without a long wait time)? Such bullshit... And now that buffs have been put to the trash bin at this final step, it does not get better.

Honestly my favorite healing class is Mistweaver by far. And that comes from a 934 resto druid. It just feels so much better. I actually have to work to get some good numbers in raids, I can't just spam rejuv with a swiftmend in the middle and do 700k. I feel so much more useful in Mythic+ with my Mistweaver, I have Velen's for when things get hairy, I have my mass dispel (and a good heal with Velen's as well), I have Thunder Focus for some more mana with Vivify, I've got mana tea, Chi-Ji, statue (even though it's kinda useless), Tiger's Lust for dks, Fistweaving if I ever decide to get into it, a good stun in the form of Leg Sweep and an even better stun with Paralysis. If no one hits the mob. I can even pump out some kind of decent dps! Honestly if you want to get into healing I highly suggest a Mistweaver. They can be a bit of work when it comes to positioning, but the heals feel sooooooo good. Getting a Life Cocoon on that one dps at 2% because they fucked up... it's brilliant.

Resto Shaman is spike healing, not AoE healing. Both resto druid and holy priest are a lot better at AoE healing then resto shaman... xD This is of course, when you get artifact, not currently with prepatch but actual legion stuff. Real job descriptions: Monk = Utility healer Shaman = Spike healer Paladin = Tank Healer Druid = HOT / AoE Healer HPriest = Alrround (2nd best in almost all of the above, but not best in anything) DPriest = Half a healer

Positioned behind melee if I took Prism, otherwise by the tank - better learn boss mechanics. So many single target heals, you HAVE to know how to combine them. Then (glyphed) Light of Dawn on CD and prism mostly on CD.

Druids - Blizz has a man-crush on druids & we all know it. I play resto (when I can pry myself away from Boomkin), so I don't have to try hard. If you want to look cool, while phoning it in, play a resto druid. It is so OP, my resto is 108 ATM and I really have NO idea about passives & artifact buffs & stuff. I put everything on my bar & I KB smash and still get it done (if you are recruiting for a raid healer on Turalyon, I will be respeccing at 100 and starting to take it a bit more seriously then).

You started off good, but the way I see it.. Druids have one fatal flaw: The mastery. NEEDING to prehot people again was a problem in prior expansions before any powerful healing could be used on them. It's great on fights you can predict who's taking damage, but if random people are taking random damage, you can't set up appropriately. Monks have some of the most powerful heals, but they are the most mana costly, so they'll go through blowing through mana, then waiting with soothing mist doing the tank healing as they get their mana back. Disc priests of course are damage/heals and unfortunately, they don't get any really good snap ability. If they had some way to set up AoE atonement raidwide (for maybe like 8 seconds even) I'd like them more, but I'd only use them if we do not need another raid wide in rotation in future fights. As I have not seen a lot of the legion bosses, I will say their healing skyrockets on fights where the boss has a 'takes extra damage' phase like gorefiend. But yeah, can we get Halo to apply Atonement for half duration prease? :D Holy priests are fantastic. There's no preperation for anything they do. They adapt on the fly. Random damage goes out? They got it. Predictable damage goes out? they got it. Need a snap tank heal while you're raid healing? they got it. Need a snap AoE heal while tank healing? they got it. The best part? THEY HAVE MANA EFFICIENCY!! out of all the classes, they remind me of how TBC druids used to be where it they had endless mana. Shamans are easy solid and fantastic raid healing, especially when you can stack up. paladin I can't say much on.

Holy is honestly the most boring healer at the moment, the Ryu/Ken/Mario analogy was nice but kind of falls flat when you realize every other class does things either better or as good, never worse. I miss the old Serendipity, it was so engaging and fun, wacking out Binding or Flash heals for empowered PoHs. Both Chakra mechanics were fun as well, refreshing renew or accelerating the CoH cooldown, both made the rotation feel alive. (but I do not defend the actual Chakras stances, just the mechanics they were associated with). Right now, outside of Apotheosis (the one saving grace), I'm just hitting the same 2-3 buttons with the occasional holy word. I feel forced into weaving in the "wrong" spells because I need that "other" holy word soon. I loved WoD's holy playstyle, if they had just removed chakras and made those effects into some lower-tier talents, I would have been fine with that. But props to blizzard in general with class redesign, as far as I've experienced it! Disc and Shadow are both insanely fun so my priest won't be forgotten, and other classes I've tried are generally quite fun!

Mistweaver. In MOP - obscure, strange and underwhelming. In WOD, fixed, but bland as can be. In Legion, I fear this was where Blizz started in their crusade to dumb down the game. Having said that, I will be spending time in 9-12 months, filling my spare time with more MW.

I love my disc priest again after a very VERY lackluster xpac in WoD... but you just went and made me want to play my pally again! It's been what? 4 xpacs since we were melee healers? I stopped playing him because he became like every other damned healer tm. I wanna play him again!!! D: Ah well, I guess I know what I"m using that 100 boost for now lol.

First time ever playing a real healer class and in the beginning I thought I would want to be a Holy Priest, but they started me off as Disc and I ended up having sooo much fun AND still being able heal quite well that I have continued on with the build. I must say, I could not be happier!! Though, I could do without all the negativity now surrounding Disc priests about whether or not they can 'really' heal a party/raid... Great video BTW, just subscribed!!

To be honest I was really surprised about the mistweaver spec in Legion. Back when it first came out in MoP I was like nah. Then came WoD I was oh hell nah not playing that spec, all aboard the trainwreck express. Finally, in Legion, I like, "Mmm. Damn that's some good shit!" So in other words Mistweaver is my go to spec for healing.

Hey, do you have a link to the blue-post stating that Disc wouldn't be worth much in Mythic+? This seems really disappointing for me as someone who is really enjoying the new disc feel and flavor. In addition it goes against my expectation and understanding that blizzard was working towards reviving diversity, but maintaining balance in output. I certainly would like to still main disc priest, but I suppose I won't be totally bummed out if I have to get my monk back and..."rolling".
