Alex, I've been doing fitness and different dieting for a few years now. Intermittent fasting that works ok for me is eating everything within a 4 hour window (usually starting around 2pm so I'm not completely starving before bed). Long fasts 24hrs plus doesn't work for me, I've tried and anything after 24 hours and my body basically shuts down, guessing because I don't have enough body fat to burn for energy. Just eat easy foods to break your fast!

“Without a hitch”…….in the past, used by joiners and carpenters: “Hitch" in this case means "roughness, a hook on a smooth surface of the board." The phrase originated in the professional speech of carpenters, for whom the smooth finish of wood with various tools was an indicator of the quality of work. Literally, smoothly and without any flaws. This has transitioned to how you want everything to go smoothly, without a hitch.
@aaronbritt20252 жыл бұрын
I read, many years ago, that it was a nautical based idiom. Had something to do with the rope not being "hitched". If the rope wasn't lashed around a hitch, it ran more quickly. If it was, it ran more slowly.

Nice work on the outback, fun to watch. Those new wheels are very nice however those tires don’t look suitable for Chi-town winters. Recommend Max start looking soon for a set of winter rims and snow tires. For dealing with lots of snow if thats an issue these days, I wonder if that suspension could accept some Airlift airbags?

Great automotive KZbin channel. I lived in Japan 7.5 years so understand Peter. Now I live in Phoenix AZ and our automotive issues are not so much rust and Salt corrosion but sun is relentless so paint get dried and faded; roads are. It all silky smooth so suspension parts get hammered; heat also drains batteries faster and tires get dried out fast and super hot driving on the hot asphalt so it is hard on tires. Interior plastics crack and leather upholstery gets dried and cracks unless conditioned frequently. Understandably covered parking or working from home is a highly coveted work perk! Keep up the great shows and projects. Learning lots!

Hitch: The etymology of this originates with horses, and attaching buggies or implements to the harnesses of horses or teams of horses. Attaching something behind horses tends to Slow them down, or in the case of large implements, stumps, or stuck vehicles, Stops them completely. Therefore a “Hitch” is something that hinders progress or stops it completely. Great video.
