We used to have Lego Heroica. It was a great game from back in the day with 2 seasons. Sadly it died out

Heroica had lots of potential! My Brother and I loved playing it! We got all of them besides we couldn't find the cave level. I think that one was hart to find or something.

Heroica was obviously based on HeroQuest - - yes, it died out so quickly. I had to re-create it on paper to actually play it, along with the online flash gameplay offered by Lego.

I still have my Heroica stuff, and all my old lego from way back when I was a kid, so me and my guys sometimes kitbash dungeons etc.

The HeroQuest fan content has litterally taken over, and it's stronger than ever !! I even created the Tower of Darkness ; where you access the boutiques via a portal at each floor, 15 floors of randomized maniac dungeons with enemy reinforcements if you lollygag too much in the dungeons.

I always thought it would be amazing if someone came out with a Lego like version. Dungeon set and terrain set it would sell like hot cakes

There was Lego Heroica. But scaling-wise, it's too low-res to enjoy because it feels too much as a toy collection rather than D&D set pieces. (kzbin.info/www/bejne/rXOknJ6VedKIba8) You will need a whole new productline of higher-res dungeon crawler modular pieces that doesn't cost a kidney. (kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZC9f3-Lht1jpLM)

Look into steel wheels lego on you tube. It’s a racing combat game using lego for the game pieces.

For me, Lego is the opposite of miniatures. Miniatures are high rez, hand painted, incredibly immersive. Legos are low rez, toy colored, and jarringly fourth wall destroying. Not saying this is a bad idea, but a Lego dungeon would defeat the purpose of a tabletop game.

Lego is much more customizable than minis though
@paladinpariah3252 жыл бұрын
@@abnercliff9624 Sure... but you sacrifice way too much aesthetic value and detail for that customization. You end up looking at something with no detail, bland colors, and almost no realism. I'll put it like this... ... would you rather have a customizable Model T? ... or a 2021 Ferrari? The Model T will never match the Ferrari...
@abnercliff96242 жыл бұрын
@@paladinpariah325it might depend on your preference, i like minis alot but Legos are vastly superior to be because of the customization
