To answer why the ghost hunting stuff is blue, it’s because it’s 3d printed! You can see some parts being printed in the jb lab set, and that’s why in most cases it’s just blue parts being added on. Guessing the buggy here is fully built for the ghost hunting team unlike the rest of the modified vehicles.

Small Brick City, the 20$ ghost lab set has a 3d printer that is shown printing parts for a ghost gun (I think the one for el fuego’s truck). It was offhandedly mentioned that that’s how all the stuff was made in an interview with the set designers at some point too but I can’t remember which one, they mention the 3d printer too and say that.

Great looking set, especially next to the old fishing store. I wonder if the shrimp boat would fit into that area too.?! I’m quite tempted to get this theme. I really like the look of most of these sets... there’s something about buildings becoming monsters and ghost hunting that appeals to me 😆🤣 Can’t wait to see your modifications 🌟

Haha... yes, in my previous stream I showed how the Creator Riverside Boat fit in well and assumed the Shrimp Boat will fit in as well. I guess the theme does appeal to peeps!

It's interesting that LEGO has chosen Shrimp and fishing for Shrimp for this. It's a very niche idea I think. I like it - don't get me wrong. But, it seems niche. The sets are pretty nice though and this one is definitely worth getting I'd say. I dunno why they insist on the vehicles looking so sci-fi and cartoonish!? Thanks for sharing this review and keep up the great work :-)

It’s a great set which didn’t take too long to mod for a closed back and modular lift-off roof. It looks great in my Ninjago District sitting on a 16x32 baseplate 👍 I haven’t used the AR game as apparently my iPhone 5S is too old and decrepit to run it. Not that I am bothered! The physical build was strong enough for me to get the set for that alone.

Hi JC. It looks like this set has lots of really interesting parts and features to make it a great build, whether or not you need the 'hidden side' features. I must be quite tempting if you have a seaside area in your city or you decide you need a seafood restaurant in town. You will need to put it on a baseplate to fit with the other modulars and that should give you several free plates to use for, say, extending the area at the side or making the slightly larger and removeable roof you will need when you add the back and make it 'modular-style'. It definitely needs an eating area with some seats. I would be tempted to lose the stairs, move the shack over to one side and put the shrimp sign on top of the restaurant or at the back. Then you would have a larger seating area to the side, where the 'chomping' action feature is now. The strange greenery and the tree could go there too or at the front. Look forward to seeing how it comes out.

I find them a bit plain Jane to be honest not much character to them and the app takes the most important aspect away from the set your own imagination big respect to you for wt you do with these sets making it your own taking something and making it better that's wt it's all about sir keep up the good work..😎
