Honestly I think they killed it with this set considering the designer said they had previously thought this would be impossible to do. I also think Soundwave is the next one they will do since they can't do Starscream, Megatron, or Shockwave because LEGO is pretty well known for not making sets based around military vehicles.

Soundwave FEELS like an obvious choice because of his simple yet effective transformation, however I feel like they will avoid him because his transformation basically requires him to have knees which Lego refuses to do.

I have both B and Prime, and to me Prime feels far superior. Transformer B is VERY clunky, and so easy for small parts to break off. Also, you cant tell as much from here, but the arms are VERY stubby. Anyhow just my two thoughts.

Honestly, I feel like it's a little stiff, I feel like Hachiroku24 (who is a Lego MOC creator) did a much better and streamline design. If those shoulders were animation accurate, I would be okay with those brick-like thighs/legs. I can understand though, as a custom builder myself, it's very hard to capture a humanoid design. But I think that I will be spending my money on Optimus.

Sadly, they're not gonna make the majority of the Decepticons due to them being military vehicles. The next Transformer I hope LEGO makes because it would make sense would be Soundwave due to him having a simple design and easy transformation and also giving us a Decepticon to go along Prime and Bee maybe they could a cassette with him like Lazerbeak or Rumble.

LEGO Bumblebee is so awesome, i truly love it because we got our second LEGO Transformers 🤩! Despite his vehicle mode and his robot mode not really G1 accurate, but this LEGO Transformers figure is still awesome. Everything is awesome (the word from The LEGO Movie)😊! I have made a bunch of no-transforming Transformers vehicles from Lego mto be in scale with the official Optimus. It's hard and so I'm not quick to just choices that this designer made. But whether it's real life Beetle or penny racer style, the roof to the rear bumper should all be a single curve from the side, not two curves like a cartoon seagull. And the prototypes shown in the release video look better in vehicle mode. I'll get this but it really needs to modding bad. I can't wait to see what better builders do with it, same as they did with Prime. Still, great review as always PvP.

I personally think Lego transformers has a ton of potential than the traditional hasbro transformers. I believe Lego transformers eliminates a lot of the shell formers that we would normally get with the ultra complex live action characters. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do consider releasing Lego transformers as an actual series.

Ive taken out the yellow pin that keeps the arms from falling appart....made it a half cm shorter and put it back..now arms go much lower an have much more space to move..looks much better

I'm going to pass on this, much as I like OP, he was very flawed around the waist due to the desgining and kept coming apart with the panel that makes up the front area also being troublesome, so he ended up on display and just sitting there, well standing but still, thou the thing I tend to mess with the most from that kit is the energon cube
