I really love the way Claudia Gray tackles the Star Wars universe and its characters. Princess of Alderaan was a great read (even if I prefer Lost Stars - which is my fav) and like in Bloodline, Claudia knows how to write Leia. Holdo was for me the standout (I want more contents with her) and I was also really glad we learn more about Breha.

I love that she has personality traits from both of her bio parents. It warms my heart!

This book is why I fell in love with Leia’s character. In the movies she’s kinda just the kick-butt princess and little more, but in this her character was explored SO MUCH more and I LOVED it. I honestly ship Keir with Leia so hard, and I love how he foils Han. This book is so good. I’m currently reading Queen’s Shadow and I can totally see the parallels.

I enjoyed reading this book last year 👍 I love the Star Wars books written by Claudia Gray 😍 I’m going to pick up Master and Apprentice when it’s out on paperback.

I really loved the characters in this book, though it I felt like there wasn’t an enormous conflict. Just a bunch of little ones that you knew everyone would inevitably make it through because duh! Even the end had me hanging. If there was something bigger that would have made the book a 10/10 for me

First of - Claudia is amazing. Have you read "Lost Stars" yet? One of my favorite books of all time. Im glad you read this before TLJ, I thought TLJ was made better due to this book. If I watched TLJ without reading the book, then I wouldnt really have given a shit about Holdo. But knowing their story made it very emotional when Holdo sacrificed herself..
