When I was a teenager and I used to fish out in Tampa Bay there was a restaurant that my best friend and I would fish at and they always had the absolute best crab cakes, it was called Seabreeze Restaurant off of the Causeway (right down from the Tampa Shrimp Docks) and they deep fried their crab cakes so that they looked like hushpuppies. They also had a baitshop beside the restaurant as there was a boat dock (where I would always launch my flats boat), so they had constant access to fresh seafood, but their crab cakes were AMAZING! I really wish that yall had fried yours.
