Some stuff is quite edge especially as they not only change the color of the char sets. But what was more mindblowing is, that the final 4 bit samling at the end has a length and quality, that i never saw before on a c64 hardware. The quality of the output an the length are awesome. thx for the demo. Per!

If one of these Demo coders would JUST MAKE A GAME with these type of cutscenes.... Liek a Fighting game that when you select lets say a Tiger Character, it shows that Tiger head scene shown here floating wiht that awesome background. You know like the consoles usually do. Amazing what these guys could do with the limited hardware in that days. Loved the demoscene during that time and later during the Amiga area. Was even more amazing what some groups would do on cracked games, by adding a demo during boot.

actually they couldn't, yet. the techniques to pull off these tricks mostly were invented much later, like e. g. the 8-bit sampling routine of which the most basic version was AFAIK first shown in 2008. this one is from june 4th, 2023, but on the same old hardware.
