No herb is going to increase serotonin. The only way directly increase serotonin is by using Tryptophan or 5-HTP.

How long have You been taking it? Any negative affects on thyroid hormones with daily usage? My hormones are perfect for now. I plan to stack LB extract(4% rosmarinic acid) with Nigella Sativa(5% thymoquinone) after dinner. This sound to me like good combo for relieving stress and promote better sleep?

I'm a bit scared to try new nootropics as in the past L tyrosine/ashwagandha has mad me irritable over prolonged use, while L theanine has made me numb. Do you think Lemon balm could be good alternatives to these? Im a relatively neurotypical person which is why I assume the previously mentioned nootropics havent worked for me, I'm mainly looking for benefits for focus, energy, and sleeping better. Appreciate the videos David

You have a lot of supplements to choose from. I suggest when trying something new you do it alone and not combined with another supplement. If things go bad then you drop it and try something else. I had high hopes for lemon balm, unfortunately it left me feeling like I took muscle relaxants. I'd be so tired the entire next day I couldn't even move, completely fatigued.

Do you have any thyroid issues? Because that could be the problem. Lemon Balm does not work for everyone.

I seem to be having the same tiredness. I take a 1/2 full dropper and not a full lemon balm tincture to see if that helps not bog me down.

Your brain is like a transceiver. And uses neurotransmitters for things like thought, recall, memory encoding for all forms of memory. But that is combined with BDNF and neurogenesis. And keeping neurotransmitters and neurogenesis so it all works as designed. Which is simple to do by using precursors and supplements to boost BDNF.

Lemon Balm will potentiate the effects of your GABA supplement. I've recently seen a study that indicated L-Theanine can interrupt sound sleep so I've taken it out of my sleep recommendations.

I had no problem to get asleep but as many premenopausal women on HRT , I woke up after 3 hours and had difficulties to get asleep fast that is why I added to my endocrinologist prescribed gaba supplements l- theanine which I read Many articles on pubmed usa and honestly it has worked for few months but lately due to increased climatic Heat . Problems Racing toughts and Sleep latency delays are back again After 5 Hours of Sleep ( I am 53 years old ) I suppose every Product has a different effects on each single individual. We all premenousal women would be very grateful to you if you could post a video for best premenopausal and postmenopausal supplements for women Thanks for your precious help
